And it took Church only two training camp practices to determine the Jaguars practice harder than the Cowboys.

“It is a lot more demanding [than the Cowboys],” Church said. “A lot more periods. I think we had about 18 today. Back on my old team we probably had about 12 or something like that. Like coach said, there are a lot of new players in here. The coaching staff is trying to figure out who fits where. We need a lot of periods, and we need all that to get the chemistry down. We are just working on that and getting ready.”

“The culture is pretty much the same [in Jacksonville as in Dallas],” Church said in quotes distributed by the team. “We have a real close group like we did in Dallas. We have a real close group here. We had a real close group, but I was just a little bit younger when I was in Dallas. I feel like we have a lot more talent than we did over there. We just have to keep plugging away and get ready for Week 1.”

Jags have great personnel....Blake Bortles and coaching is why they aren't better. I think he's trying to get fans excited out there about him and the team. Jags have talent though,

Anybody who says he's lying or bashes him for his statement is just a pure Homer.

The talent on their defensive side of their ball was way better than ours last year and prior.

We had Church himself, Carr, Mo, Wilcox, a downgraded Scandrick. ECT a bunch of Non Athletic goofs put together. We probably had the slowest secondary in the NFL and most non athletic group

Not to mention we had no pass rush, and average at best LB play outside of Lee

In all fairness when your QB is turning the ball over 12 times a game and the defense is on the field more than the offense the numbers get a little skewed

Why were we better in 2015? Points per drive Dallas
was 16th in 2016, Jaguars were 19th. They simply were not better

...they're probably gonna have a decent running game now too. They have decent WRS. Like others have pointed out, they are weak at QB and coaching. Last I knew, that was pretty important.

Adding Fournette to the offense should help too.
