"Have a lot more talent" =/= better
Think, people. They have a lot of talent on their team, the question is IF these players reach their potential. Often times, this is on the coaching and I think the Jaguars coaching staff has been awful. But here is the talent the Jags have
Blake Bortles - he is a talented QB, nice arm, some mobility
Allen Robinson - Talented WR, big 2015 season but had a down year in 2016
Allen Hurns - great #2 WR when healthy
Leonard Fournette - Ton of talent, many scouts believing he'll be the next dominating RB in the NFL
What they will struggle with is their offensive line, but moving to the defense there are a lot of great pieces here
Jalen Ramsey - looks like he can become a shutdown corner in this league, had great games against really good receivers last year
Myles Jack - A lot of talent, incredible athleticism for the LB position, should have a bigger role this season
Yannick Ngakoue - Was overlooked last year due to the team record, he ended with 8 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 1 INT
Dante Fowler Jr. - ACL injury his rookie year, and started to come on late last season
Calais Campbell - Great veteran
The team does have a lot of talent at some key positions, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Whether it all comes together, we will see. The issue is the culture and coaching staff in Jacksonville, personally, I think Bortles will be used as a scapegoat when they have another losing season.
