Church's comments obviously has Bortles trying to live up to Dak's standard ;)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles turned in one of the worst practices of his career Saturday night by throwing five interceptions, including two to a player who last played in an NFL game in 2015.

Bortles threw two interceptions in 7-on-7 drills and three others in 11-on-11, one of which linebacker Telvin Smith returned for a touchdown. Cornerback Tyler Patmon, who spent time with the Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers last season after playing in two games with Miami in 2015, intercepted Bortles twice in 11-on-11. Linebacker Josh McNary (7-on-7) and safety Tashaun Gipson (11-on-11) also had interceptions.

Coach Doug Marrone was clearly disappointed after the two-and-a-half hour practice, the team's first in pads.

What in the world happened to Blake Bortles ? A few years ago it looked like he was an up and coming qb.

Jaguars do have more talent on D and that's probably what influences his opinion more.

Overall, the talent level per NFL team isn't greatly different from team to team (on average).

Church is just trying to pump up his fan base, and that's fine.

A decade of top 5 picks...you SHOULD have some talent!

Yet could not produce better results than the Cowboys defense.

It's interesting that you went straight to the personal attacks. But I suppose that informs your character, or lack thereof.

Yeah because their Defense was on the field way more often than ours. Then again you won't go look that deep. You'll just scratch the surface, whatever as long as it fits your argument. Any defense that has to be out on the field often without any rest will soon break early and often.

They had more talent period. As of now? Well I don't know. We will see.

Had we had the Jags defense last year, to go with this ball controlling offense. We might be having a different conversation. Giants wouldn't beat us twice either.

Dak threw four picks in an entire NFL regular season....let that sink in Barry.

That's fine that he thinks that way. He might be right but he's still mad about Stephen Jones saying "They were ready to move on from him." I'm glad they did move on from an average player.

What can one expect from a decade of having high draft picks?

So Bortles is serving up interceptions like a popcorn machine, eh?

How is it that such a fine player as Barry Church wasn't able to secure one of them?

You're one of those guys.

You will defend anything Cowboys. No one can do wrong. We could go and sign Keith Davis and Derek Ross, Reeves ect to be our starters and you would sit up and try and convince everyone, this is the best move.

You are the reason this fan base get mocked and laughed at.

Everybody is top 5 in your eyes
He's one of those weird dudes who uses evidence and facts to form his opinion. We need more guys who just make things up and think their baseless opinion is as valuable as others supported ones.

Yeah exactly, I mean you make things up and always have a baseless opinion. So I guess he is a weird dude.

Thanks for trying to see it my way Larry.

Over half the league has more talent on defense than we do. No big news there. We score 40 every game, we got this :D
