deja vu

Cowboys believe in Brandon Weeden (even if no one else does)
PFT: Cowboys believe in Kellen Moore (even if no one else does)

and in the story Linehan brags about how great Moore is-Just like Jerry use to with Weeden.

yep Deja Vu all over again

Hey, the Pope is Catholic...the Catholics have a Pope.

Just to include facts...Weeden currently is on the payroll for Houston, for some 'unknown' reason...

Weeden was probably a good QB in practice, that gave him opportunities to prove himself in games and he couldn't show up with pressure. Hence why we got rid of him. Kellen is a completely different person just like Linehan is from Jerry. He's a coach and he's a lot more qualified from a football perspective. If our coaching staff thinks he's an NFL QB and ya'll don't there's a bigger chance ya'll are wrong (not saying they're always right but these guys have hit on a lot lately give them a chance)

That final game of 2015 against the Skins:
435 yards
3 TDs
100.6 passer rating

All that while Doug Free was getting him killed. Moore was sacked 4 times.

Moore brings those sacks on himself. He's a little slow in the pocket and drifts in his footwork creating an inconsistent launch position. Hard for a OT to block for that.

Moore suffered one sack in that game from Free's side. Tyron Smith gave up a sack as well, and the interior line allowed two. I was actually at the game, and Free wasn't the problem in pass protection.

Agenda much?

Bingo ... his Intellect will compensate his weakness.

I'm hoping you're right about that. I'm struggling to believe it, though. Nevertheless, I'm resolving myself to taking another looksee. To be totally candid, I think Kellen is the type of backup QB that the team will always be looking to replace with someone better. Linehan is more than likely his biggest supporter within the Dallas franchise. I'm really hoping that Moore can convince me he's got "it," although I wouldn't dare bet a dime to get a dollar on it. Let's just hope he proceeds to amaze us all and turn heads in the preseason games. To be continued . . . (sigh.)

I don't even wish to think about Dak going down. Had enough of that with Romo and we seen how great this team did when that happened. No matter who the team is. You lose your starter, your done.

Well no one had a bigger noodle arm than Ginger, so for a couple games I'm okay with Moore.
Clearly Linehan adjusted routes in that last game to allow moore to just chuck it up and hit receivers going vertical which I have to admit for a lob guy he has pretty good accuracy.

Long as they don't force him to try and run daks offense he'll be fine .

Linehan is the one who brought Moore here. This is Linehan's move thru and thru (Moore staying on roster).

You know who else had a monster game in a game that meant absolutely nothing? Matt Flynn in 2011. Hasn't did anything since.

Moore has a noodle arm and it would be 2015 all over again if he had to play a significant amount of time.
Done.

He can step in for a max of two to three games, and do a good job. But in the mean time, isn't paid like a quarterback actually shooting for a starting gig.

Agreed.

I think more than 2-3 games with Moore and you start getting diminishing returns.
