Agree with this. I don't think he feels the same connection with the Cowboys like some former players. I could see him doing a Joe Flacco (without the ring) and stinking it up elsewhere in his late thirties.

I want to make out with Anna Kendrick but I don’t think it’s possible. I am happy with how Dak is playing this season and if we make it to the post season I hope he keeps the same level of play. As far as 5-6 or 8 years down the road that’s something to think about several years from now. Right now for me I hope Dak finishes every game healthy this season. He’s still an injury concern due to history. Every game he finishes at a high level and healthy is a sigh of relief. We’ll deal with 2-3 years from now in 2-3 years.

One thing I’m kind of noticing is Dak is playing well above expectations. I think even the hardest core Dak fan is surprised he’s playing this well after last season’s injury. Why can’t we just stay in the moment and be happy Dak,and the rest of the team, is making this season interesting when some of us thought this was another throw away season?

Honestly, unless he goes the Romo route with an injury that may be chronic any time he's hit there, I could see him play out this deal with a chance at another short term extension.

Even if Jerry moves on, I could see SJ still wanting Dak as the QB, even with France being his agent.

Who cares? Like we can do anything about it....why do some take this stuff so seriously. Just cause he wants to play into his 40s, like most other players, doesn't mean he will. I thought I could coach for another 10 years. My lower back, shoulder and knees had other plans. I couldn't even throw a football more than 30 yards anymore and I sure as hell wasn't gonna coach from a golf cart, like many others. So, boom....I retired on my 50th birthday. 9 years later, I still think about going back, but I can't and won't do it half azz.
