PFT: Dak wants to play into his 40s

Oh great. Jerry will still be gm in his 90s and Dak will still be highest paid plsyer

So.....2 more contract extensions
Skies the limit.....
Mansion rebuild is going over budget & baby mama is showing him what spending really means. A quarter Bil just doesn't go as far as it used to.

Dunno about that..

His losing weight seems to be working great at the moment.
If you want to see Dak's progression look no further than Russell Wilson.

When you can't run, you can't speed up your progression of recognition and the arm strength wanes this is what it looks like.

Very few have the talent that Aaron Rodgers has into the 40's and the discipline to do what Tom Brady did to train and hone his body.

Dak wants to continue getting overpaid into his 40s. If he continues to play as well as he has thus far, this year, playing into his 40s won't be a problem. How likely is that?

Hecertainly clinb the charts statistically

He's already going-to easily own the Cowboys records, but could move up the charts overall

Still those pesky playoffs though
The playoffs have been a little pesky for Dak, no ?

OK let's be real father Time is undefeated Injuries come out of nowhere right now he's been rather lucky to recover as well as he has to still play at this level but I don't think he plays past this contract. Y'all thought two to three more years anyway counting this year so two more years after if he's still playing like this I can see it by eight years Nah that's not happening.

Unless he wants to be floating around the league like Joe Flacco is 40 years old he's still playing hell they still trading for him He's still considered a starter in some ways but a spot starter a floater..

I know Tom Brady made a shift at the end of his career played what three years in Tampa II think if Prescott wants to play longer than this contract he's probably going to have to go elsewhere.....

i'm not saying he can't he can't do it but odds are against him...

YUP , Jerry into his 90's and Dak into his 40's !
What could possibly go wrong ?
I know we've had quarterbacks that are actually playing close to that tom Brady did it I know Aaron Rodgers is still trying to do it and he did it the same way Tom Brady did it he had to leave his current team...

Joe Flacco's is forty years old and Cincinnati just traded for him to be their starter... There's that there are quarterbacks that have played into their 40s but I don't think they remained on their same team for the entire time..

Manning was 39 before he retired , It might take that for him to get a title it could be crazy but if Prescott plays here two more years and then has to leave because Jerry doesn't want to sign him again go somewhere else and wins a title...

Brady 45

Flacco is 40

Brees 42

Rogers is 41

Farve 41

So these are just some examples but players at his position at quarterback can play until they're 40 or over That's really up to them and the teams they're being under contract for who's willing to sign them Will they be willing to play for less..

Alright critics.........chew on that (LOL)

Dak Prescott, who is 32 and in his 10th season, wants to play into his 40s

I just did a quick look up 'cause I was curious if a few of these players just off the top of my head that were older and played long into their career It's shocking this very doable it's not really unheard of.. Especially if you take into the fact that Prescott is in the best shape we saw him he reshaped his body He has less body fat he's a little more lean he's trying to stretch out his hamstrings more I mean he's in better shape than a lot of those players below where when they retired...

Somehow Prescott changes his diet extends his career just simply by eating better and working out a lot to keep himself in shape I can see him doing that barring major major injury.

.

Ironically most of those guys played around 19 seasons I think that's what he's looking at 8 more seasons doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities...
