While Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant hasn't been as outspoken as other NFL players about social issues, the three-time Pro Bowler told reporters that doesn't reflect apathy on his part toward those causes.

Bryant said Thursday he prefers to "lead by example" but doesn't begrudge players who choose to protest in different ways, per ESPN.com's Todd Archer:

"They are free to do what they want. Hell no, I'm not (criticizing) none of that. Their beliefs are their beliefs. And I'm not saying that it's wrong because they are feeling a certain way. They are supposed to. I'm just saying, I want to lead by example by doing positive. I'm not saying what they are doing is wrong. I just have my ways of going about things."

I really do, too. I can't for the life of me figure out how it got decided that he should be a lightening rod. All he does is work hard and try to be a good dude, for the most part.
True, he has really stayed out of the news for all the wrong reasons for the last couple years and seems to have matured into a team leader by example rather than by complaining on the sideline.

Who is the media picking on Dez? I don't know where this whole thing even comes from. I spend alot of time reading on the net because of my job and I do love fantasy football. I haven't seen anyone picking on Dez, dude might just have to be a monster the first 6 weeks with Zeke out. I will be targeting him hard in my fantasy drafts if the price/round is right.
