Oh wow... you can’t be serious... I’ve seen it all...
How is this not at least minimally a conflict of interest?
On what basis are all these judges basing these reinstatement on? I don't get it. What are they seeing that we are not?
And the plot thickens
Calvin Green, maybe just an average Joe Cowboys Fan, just found the smoking gun with the conflict of interest story.. I hope this goes live and becomes another embarrassment for the NFL..
Calvin Green is going to be a hero...
No, this is not going to the Supreme Court. I mean, I suppose there's a chance they try to appeal it that far, but I do not believe the USSC is going to agree to hear it.
You can't make this crap up..unbelievable...
So you think he is guilty of DV...okay.
He is not at the SCOTUS level yet. He still have that 2nd District Court of Appeals to go through. Word is he has 24 hours to appeal to them, so we should expect it sometime today.
The NFL haven’t convicted him of a crime only violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.
The Policy which was agreed upon is the core issue.
NFL and the corrupt judge probably thinks they have the upper hand considering the #metoo movement also...
i just don't give a damn about the "sport" anymore. their entire focus is not on the field these days and i'm moving on.
Lawyer here. The chances of Zeke winning an appeal of a TRO denial are exceedingly small. Same with an allegation of conflict of interest by judge. We all need to accept that this is likely over for Zeke and us. Unlike the Brady case, where the trial judge ruled in Brady's favor on the TRO and the merits of the lawsuit, the judge here has ruled against Zeke on the TRO and essentially already said that she will rule against Zeke on the merits. This is over.
This team will still finish 9-7 or 10-6 at worst.
Let's not forget we have a very good OL with a QB and passing game that can get big chunks or small chunks like running plays. I think the playoffs are still very very much in play.
She was probably the only Judge that would have come to that conclusion.
I just did some of that reading. Wow. Corruption seems likely. The NFL going overboard to get this court involved makes prefect sense.
Some parts of capitalism are not great.
Which is how just about everyone outside NE talked about Tom Brady.
Show me 1 team getting screwed over by the league and I'll show you 31 teams who don't give a damn - or actually approve.
Because he's not working on the case? Because his firm is well-known and popular, which means it probably has legal tentacles in many different cases?
Because his wife made the ruling and not him?
I doubt that. I have a buddy who is a labor law attorney. He has been telling me since this began that Zeke's chances of prevailing were slim and none.
And she didn't recuse herself. ..hmmm
