Garret knows he can't win with Tony at qb. Money matching by. jerry won't mean a thing he's gone.

I have been known to try and increase my own bulge. I bet there are lots of people who want to increase the bulge.

They say the size of the bulge doesn't matter. It does matter. ;)

The other members of ACDC used to laugh and Bon Scott for sticking a sock in his pants when he went on stage:p:

Its not the money that disgusts me, its his character. Like I said, I respect his hustle, I just wish he wouldnt do it to a franchise that he could very well be the head coach of in a few years.

I agree and the red haired ***** could have waited a few weeks until the post season was over. Teams with needs would have waited considering his billing.

Great to hear, IMHO...Hope he stays on, a lot to continue to build on...and hopefully a shot at running the show in the near future here in Big D

And here, I thought they were talking about wallets.

Anyway, If he has a shot at HC he should take it. He can always go back to being a OC, but he is hot right now and needs to take advantage of the situation.

Of course you would because that's why you are brainwashed. Only Danny does that...it's his wallet, and guess what?

Annoying is more like it. This little twirp is getting on my nerves. Then again, Jerry really didnt help matters and it seems he'll never learn. The fact that he's willing to pay him HC money disgusts me. I cant say I dont admire Garrett's hustle, but when he's unproven and basically trying to pimp Jerry for everything he can get out of him, its too much and says a lot about his character.

Is it your money ?

Unproven...try 13-3 pal! It's not Garrett's fault that Romo made horrible decisions or that his receivers dropped balls on Sunday. The game plan was fine. Garrett is a great playcaller

I've gotta agree with you on this one james. Garret knows romo will never change his ways on some of the lil things that cost you games in the playoffs like taking sacks for losses & throwing the ball into triple coverage. If you're a good game manager you can be successful in his offense and he knows that. He doesn't think romo is that type of qb so he's bolting don't blame him one bit.

This has to be about driving up his price. Jason is a smart guy, and I can't imagine he sees this as a better situation than staying put or being the head coach in Baltimore.

That's exactly what it sounds like to me. He's checking out his market value. Then he'll ask JJ to match it or at least come close. I'm confident he's going nowhere.

I'd have let the guy walk, after the collapse we all witnessed. I for one am not terribly impressed with the product he put on the field this year.

Garrett sees a big pay day in his immediate future and a spanking new shiny stadium standing there for him to christen with his legacy in a few years. Baltimore...Atlanta...blech. He can have them if he wants, but he was a cowboy for a long time.

I doubt Garrett will forget that Jerry came calling to rescue him from a bad team in Miami for a promotion to Offensive Coordinator. Don't forget that Jerry tried to get him to become a coach with the Cowboys before letting him go as a player. Jerry has always thought Garrett was going to be a special coach in this league. Garrett will stay in Dallas unless Jerry feels the price is too high.

People that think Garrett is somehow disrespecting this organization by looking to advance himself is either refusing to seperate their love of team from real life or they have no idea what it means to support a family in the real world.

Garrett offered coaching job by Ravens; next stop Atlanta
NFL.com

Jason Garrett is in demand.

After spending Tuesday interviewing with the Baltimore Ravens regarding the team's head coaching vacancy, the Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator was offered the position, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Garrett spent more than six hours interviewing with the Ravens, who preferred not to let Garrett leave without signing a contract. Garrett, however, followed his time in Baltimore with a flight to Atlanta, where he will discuss the Falcons' head coaching position that has been offered to him by team owner Arthur Blank.

Puh-lease......it is called integrity...and now I seriously doubt JG's.

Don't try to equate what JG is making as the OC for Dallas as what the rest of us make by saying we have no idea what it means to support a family in the real world.

Does JG worry about money for Christmas, bills, rent, etc?

Some of us do and get tired of high wage earner's pimping themselves out. I have a good job.....do you all realize what my boss would say if I told him company B wanted to pay me more?

That is why a lot of us have a problem with this....and I was looking forward to JG as the next HC. Now I don't trust him.

You can't look at it that way. I don't know why everyone get's so upset w/ JG trying to maximize his potential. He would be STUPID not to try.

If I told my boss that company B wanted to hire me and wanted to pay me so n so amount. I am certain he would try and offer me the same to stay or wish me good fortune in my new endever (sp?).

It is not personal. It's business. Good lord.

What a crock of poop.

He's a hot candidate who should pursue any available opportunity.

This whole thing about "trust" and "integrity" is idiotic. Any professional who is in demand pursues opportunities.

And what exactly is wrong with Garrett's character??

Answer-- not one freakin' thing... a man has to take care of his family, which means he has to maximize his earning potential... so even if Garrett is just doing this to pry more coin out of Jerry, more power to him... he has the leverage, he ought to use it...

I guess if you had two or three different companies that were lookin' to pay you big bucks, you wouldn't talk to them, you'd stay right where you are, right??

Anything else would make you a cosmic hypocrite, if you're gonna give Garrett grief for looking around right now... and if some team is stupid enough to make him their head coach (he's simply not qualified for the job-- YET), then who are you to blame him for bettering himself??

Believe it or not, when you come to work for the Dallas Cowboys, you do not become an indentured servant... and believe it or not, there are other offensive coordinators out there who could come to Valley Ranch and do a perfectly fine job, if Jason moves on...

For you to whine about Garrett's alleged lack of character is beyond asinine, and is quite childish...
