News: PFT: Giants' Cam Skattebo carted off with serious injury

Irvin revelled in opponents fans booing him. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
In reality the booing was more directed at Deion when he started the rain dance. There were a few select idiots cheering when Irving went down but Deion putting on his show really got the crowd going.

Looked a lot like Dak’s ankle when he tried to pop it back in on the field.
Wish him a full recovery. The one plus on his side is speed and quickness we’re never his skill set anyway. He should be able to recover to his physical style.

Just look at all the love he's getting here. The guy's definitely got something special.
Hope his career isn’t derailed by injuries, Edgerrin James was saying he needs to learn to avoid the unnecessary hits. Definitely fun to watch. And Jaxson Dart is going to be a problem.

Skattebo got more guaranteed money before he ever played a snap for the Giants than some people make their entire career. (1 million +) These guys live the good life. I do feel bad for him with the injury and I am not saying many of these guys don't work extremely hard, but professional athletes live a very privileged life you can't compare it to a 9-5. A pay cut for a lot of people would drastically change their lives. A pay cut for a guy who's already made 50 million dollars (not Skattebo obviously) talking about how bad they want to win a Super Bowl, a few million dollars isn't life changing. But I don't "blame" the guys for wanting to get the most money they can get. But be honest about it. "I want to win, but I wouldn't give up any money out of my own pocket to win." is fine to me.
A million dollars isn't what it used to be. $50K a year for 20 years.

You’re wrong you can find the video. You can hear Deion sucks chants break out when he started his crap.
I was watching the game and even the announcers were crapping on the Philthy fans for booing Irvin when he was down. You must be an Eagirls fan.

This injury could have happened to anyone.
And it's a shame every time it happens to any player, regardless of team. Football is a violent sport and injuries happen. It's just unfortunate that some players (very few statistically) try to actually injure opposing players and some fans root for injuries of rival team's players.

Trust me I get it. I read about economics and inflation on a daily basis. $50K a year for 20 years is a lot different than being handed a million dollars all at once though. If you're making $50K a year you're either collecting credit card debt or nickel and diming your way through each year (I don't mean this in any sort of judgmental way.) If you get handed a million dollars all at once, you can go straight to a financial advisor, open up an account at the bank, and have that money start growing for you almost immediately. If you choose to live frugally at 20 years old with a million dollars you should be able to double it in 15 years tops and you will be set for life at that rate of compounding. If you choose to educate yourself then you should be able to double it in around 10 years or less.

But to what I was saying, most people "make" 1 million dollars throughout their life, but those people making 50K don't save up 1 million dollars. They are lucky if they save/invest anything. And it's usually such a small amount at that salary that those people don't even bother thinking about doing something productive with it unless they are young.

He sucked

He sucked in Buffalo.

Dallas takes in another 1st round bust. It’s what they do.
Jones boys just dont understand about 1st round busts lol.
They think he has to be good or he wouldnt have been picked in the 1st round.

You're right, but this young stud was more susceptible to an injury than your average joe. He plays hard than most NFLers........
Agreed. I only watched him in hi lights. But he's worse than Zeke was looking for contact. Zeke at least ran behind his pads. And Zeke was a lot bigger. He needs to talk to someone like Emmett. He knew how to run physical but make people miss in the open field. Scat simply lowers his head and charges straight at people. He's like Juggernaut from X Men.
