Jerry Jones.Who is quoted here?
I would hope the use of the word "relative" twice would have tipped you off.
Hand in your Jerry Decoder ring.

Some might be cowards. But the NFL is definitely ruled by the elite franchises, the "old money", like the Maras, the Rooneys, Kraft etc.
And there may not be a quiet majority either. Some simply don't care.
Pretty sure Ernie was behind deflategate as well. Equating a small drop in PSI to passer rating/fumble rates is not something a normal and very busy coach does. That is some out of the box thinking that coud only come from a man like Adams. That means that over an extended period of time he deliberately manipulated footballs in practice to get his data. The benefit was more about fumbles than Brady (who was already an elite passer).
They will only learn when advertisement prices fall which thus far hasn’t happened.
The 6 man competition committee seems evenly split by legacy owners and new owners. Blank is actually the guy who's taking the brunt of Jerry's wrath when it really should be Mara. Mara is the true jackwad behind all this IMO.
This is more likely to end with Jerry being isolated as a maverick owner (like Al Davis) then Goodell getting the boot. People here totally overestimate Jerry's position and don't realize that Goodell is still probably on the right side of public opinion with the Elliot case.
You better hope that never happens, because if a new owner ever took over that jag head coach you love will be the first one out the door.Interesting Jerry was supportive of Goodell thru the Brady ordeal last year and didn’t become combative until the Elliott suspension.
Jerry has needed to be shut down before by the league recently speaking out against his players suspended for marijuana with no other owners aligning with him.
Jerry was shut down and fined years ago speaking out for a greater share of the Equal TV Revenue.
Jerry has been standing alone in the recent issues which has effected the revenue as well while the NFL has taken a more stand back approach . It’s very obvious that Jerrys interest are always centric and self absorbed to his and the Dallas Cowboys interest.
I’ve never been more hopeful the majority of owners or individual owners will rise up against Jerry along with the complaints filed against him.
Nothing would serve the Dallas Cowboys football operations interest greater than a suspension or forced outing of Jerry Jone$.
It is obvious that Brady was complicit but I don't think they had proof that would hold up in court.Adams may have been behind the idea of deflategate but Brady was obviously complicit. The equipment manager specifically details how Brady likes his balls deflated, no mention of Ernie. And this supports the lack of fumbles and/or interceptions during that period when Brady went from league average to almost inhuman.
This is something I can't deny, and it concerns me deeply. Players and fans may want to take down Goodell, but all 32 owners voting in May to re-up Goodell despite the obvious problems with the product is a chilling reality.
That’s fine. I only support Garrett because of the situation with Jerry. Garrett is just my favorite puppet. You better hope that never happens, because if a new owner ever took over that jag head coach you love will be the first one out the door.
1 playoff win after 8 years on the job gets you fired by 99% of the owners in the league, except one and we all know who the one is.
Actually friend, I feel it's the constant disruption of the games Tempo due to flags flying till the desired outcome is effected( to a degree) is the catalyst that's kick started the mass exodus of viewers,,,LONG BEFORE the protests& D. V. Issues, I can't dare lump injury issues in with that,as it's obviously a physical contact 'sport' and the bubble wrap crowd can pipe down/ drop dead IMO.Most of those owners are COWARDS. They are letting Jerry take the blame for all of this instead of speaking up themselves.makes me wonder what Goddell has on some of them. All of these injuries, protests and the domestic violence issues leading to declining ratings and the man in still employed. Should have been fired after Ray Rice and fired again after Josh Brown.

The difference was that Brady was guilty and cheated the game enroute to a super bowl, lied about it, and destroyed evidence. Zeke is probably innocent and a victim of false accusations. I can't believe it hasn't been made into a racial issue. That would put Goodell in a no win situation.
Zeke should have played the race card from day 1, after all, she did tell Zeke that she was a white girl and he was a black man and that nobody was going to believe him over her. Meaning, if a white girl accuses a black man of hitting her, nobody is going to even question if its not true, it has to be true.
If Zeke would have made this racial, the NFL would have backed away from this like it was a rattlesnake.........no idea why Zeke didn't, big mistake.
Totally agree, esp with the backdrop of Brady getting off with only four games and Josh Brown, at that time only had one game for proven, admitted DV.
