To me..

the owners are going to have to step in.

It maybe in the off season once they see their loss in income for the year.

Nothing leverages more than lost money.

They need to have an emergency meeting with the NFLPA and institute a system of review away from the Commish.

Have an independent decision like arbitration works.

As for the protests..

owners need to dummy up and stop commenting on the protests.

Eventually the lost revenue is going trickle done to the players and the salary cap will not grow..

or it will result in players being released with large contracts to make up the difference.

Then the players will be held accountable for their own actions.

I can't wait for that day.
