Another talented assistant coach is locked in for the future.

It's true all the world is awaiting a final verdict on offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and, to some degree, on head coach Jason Garrett as well, but there are other matters that must also be attended to. Not everyone in the coaching staff that deserves to remain entered the offseason with a contract, and owner Jerry Jones made sure his first order of business was to get new deals to those who deserve it most. The first arrived via a three-year deal through the 2021 season for offensive line coach Marc Colombo, promoted in Week 8 following the firing of Paul Alexander.

With Colombo taken care of, they've now reportedly re-signed longtime assistant defensive line coach Leon Lett -- according to Todd Archer of ESPN.
