You are a very smart person. Do you in your heart belive Sandcastle along with our bi polar running game and the cherry on top our coach that claps as if he is in a Pentecostal church are going to figure out in 5 games what they couldn't in the last 8 out of 9 games. It has to hit rock bottom for this organization to not find a silver lining to keep status quo going

I thought Leon Sandcastle played for another team

Rooting for wins is completely counterproductive to the franchise's long term health. Our playoff hopes are over, folks.

I'm all for giving some of the young guys an opportunity to show what they've got so we can talent assess, and I hope the team keeps battling. But the absolutely worst thing that could happen is to win a couple of meaningless games and wind up 6-10 or something.

Maybe he can get some of Kitna's old mojo.

Why would you want that? We are not going to win the super bowl this season. So why not just lose out and get a top 3 draft pick and draft a top Qb prospect. Any win the rest of this season is COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS

Step up? Cut the ********. Stop trying to win, not like we will do anything.

Just lose out.

Draft might actually be fun this year.

Any self-respecting player purposely trying to lose should not be a pro football player.

Draft talk and rankings is for fans and media and you all are welcome to continue doing it. Players get paid to play and if they're caught not competing, chances are they won't be getting paid next year. At 3-8, it's not about play offs or anything meaningful to fans, most of these guys are playing for jobs and not just with the Cowboys.

It's just that simple.

I want wins...by any means necessary.

I prefer a top 5 draft pick myself, winning meaningless games accomplishes nothing.............look at 1989 for perfect example.

Green Bay and Dallas are tied for the worst record in the league going into the last game of the season, Dallas lost and Green Bay won. Dallas then selected Troy Aikman and the Packers selected Tony Manderich.

Draft position matters...........what exactly did winning that last game accomplish for the Packers?

Yeah...what a dick. When we're basically now mathematically out of it, he wants to "step up," so he ruin a high draft pick. Thanks dude, 4 games too late.

This all day. I'm tired of picking WAY late (even though we've gotten good players.) With McClay drafting now I'm ready to cash in on a high first rounder for once.

Pretty sure none of us are advocating for the players to throw the games. We just don't want them to win, there is a difference. I know that they are playing for jobs and coaches are coaching for jobs, doesn't mean we can't root for the losses to continue to mount to benefit the team in the long run

Agreed. If this team is going to lose, they better be able to look at themselves in the mirror when the game is over. None of that Wade Phillips indifference.

Besides, we get to play spoiler now for any remaining teams on our schedule who are on the brink of playoff contention, and furthermore, I don't know if there's a bonafide "can't miss" player in this draft that we can build the team around.

Exactly!!!

I don't get why so many people take things to the next level when you say something that's not all that great about the team.

Point is, right now we suck, and barely have a QB. Losing out will be good.

I want the team to olay hard and try to win every game from here on out. Rooting for catastrophe or losing out, gives me no satisfaction whatsoever.
