I am sure Kiffin is a fine fellow...and has HAD great success in this league. But in 2015....without all the technology we have...all the ex and current NFL players....why old timers like Kffin and Larry Lacewell and Gil Brandt...etc....are still leaned on so heavily. And that is not to suggest they offer nothing...but the game has changed so much...tried and true practices don't always apply in this day and age. If you are a basketball fan...look no further than the Golden State Warriors...they don't have a "big 3"...they don't have a dominant "big man"...and they are running through the NBA...and breaking records along the way. Because they have dared to approach the game a different way....and our playing to the strengths of their personnel.
The Pats did not have 1 RB we would want...they pats did not have one WR we would want other than Edelman (and we have an Edelman type)...they don't have one OL we would want....but yet they win games and are in the hunt every year...yet we need the best OL...we need a 1500 yard WR....we need a 2000 yard RB etc....people are just stealing money from Jerry and Jerry is the biggest reason why people are stealing money from him
