The league has launched a new contest that will give one fan the ability to call out a pick from the stage of the NFL draft.

The winner of the NFL Dream Draft Sweepstakes also will receive hotel and airfare to New York City, plus VIP access to the draft.

I'd enter if I got the ability to walk up on stage an announce the missed Patriots pick for cheating.

Now that would be fun.

Another thing that sucks about these contests is I already live in NY, so that "trip to NY" doesn't mean much. It also says the pick you'll be announcing is a 7th round pick! Are you serious, no one is watching that crap.

If you don't like it, then don't. But don't get mad because there not gonna let someone who might have never been on TV before get on live TV and announce a draft pick from round 1, or 2.

The last thing the NFL needs is to do this, and have some crazed moron when the contest, get on the stage and say and/or do something stupid, and make the NFL look like fools.

They are giving you an opportunity you would normally never have. Take or leave it, but don't complain about it

to get on stage at one of the biggest event's in the NFL offseason, and announce a draft pick? To get to see these athletes face ot face? That is something i would love to do.

I am relaxed, but maybe you should do a better job of illustrationg your "joking" because nowhere in your posts, was there a hint of joking.

Yeah, a chance to see all those 7 round picks we've been wishing upon stars to meet, that's something to get excited about.

I'm not going to argue to you about whether or not I was joking, I suppose me opening with a line about announcing the Patriots lost pick for cheating didn't set the tone for the rest of the post for you. I'm sure your wife will/does appreciate the fact that you won't leave your couch unless it's football related.
