Five more NFL teams will soon be playing in states where marijuana is legal, and the NFL Players Association is exploring the possibility of letting NFL players use marijuana as a pain-management tool. George Atallah, the NFLPA assistant executive director of external affairs, told the Washington Post Wednesday that the NFLPA is “actively looking” at…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2423440&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

It's funny how they just now look into it. What was the harm in looking into it in the first place? People seem to like a lot about it. Why run from that? Why are they not inclined to help people be as happy as possible?

I think the answer is purely athlete envy.

I have lived in Oregon and smoked grass a good portion of my life. But, I always suspected the medical marijuana movement was just a scam to get the law off the backs of smokers.

However, after being exposed to MM in various forms in Oregon I have become a believer. I have a friend that makes salves infused with CBD oil and that genuinely kills pain.

I had about a 10 year bout with migraines - interestingly during a 10 year period when I rarely smoked - that completely went away when I started using mm. I was also unable to sleep without some kind of over-the-counter sleep aid (Tylenol PM, HCI) and the I felt my sleep issues would eventually lead to prescription sleep aids. I have not taken any sleep aid since I started using mm.

I am a big believer due to my personal experience. And the experience of others.

Also they can remove the thc and just get people the medical properties too for anyone that doesn't feel like getting high

I'm by no means a researcher but I am someone who knows something about physiology and biochemistry. I've always heard there could be benefit, especially for those of recent African decent, to use cannabis as an analgesic. We need to test without bias and relieve suffering where we can. It's the humane thing to do.
