Yeah, pretty easy to see by my posts that I have a few screws loose. But there are SO many times I wanted to comment, but I was like, that would be a little harsh.... So I just don't say a word.

Hmmm. I still only want give them a 6th rounder this year although 5th rounder could be the compromise. Like the idea of delaying any further compensation to them until 2010; also like criteria you set for an additional pick. But I'd sure hate giving them a 4th or 5th rounder if we can/t re-sign him to a new contract. So that has to be a factor in Jerry's mind as well.

Our 5th rounder is only 4 spots away from our 6th (the one we got from Miami) for Fergy. So if it's a 5th it's no big deal. Just get it done so we can start talking about the trade for RW for the next two weeks!!!

Heck, I would probably have double this number of posts.

Well, Pacman is a risk, but we do need him. I don't care when it gets done, take as much time as needed to get the best deal for us, no rush. Not like we have too much to talk about anyway, other than arguing about nothing.

If we do get Pacman, I would love to see us trade our picks. A deal that gives us a higher first round pick and a second rounder for both our firsts (similar to the Lions rumor or such). Moving up into the teens would give us an impact player in this draft, and put us in the position to have 2 picks in a second round that shapes up to be pretty good.

I just don't like our current spots, too easy to make a stupid reach, unless someone takes a fall, which I don't see happening cause of how shallow the true 1st rounders are in this draft.

There have been a hundred different times when I've typed something really harsh, responding to something stupid I've read... but then I think to myself: "Ah, Sacamano probably meant to say something smart and just got mixed up."

So I don't post my response. :


I hope we just go ahead and sign PacMan and get this over with.

Just when it appeared that the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennessee Titans wouldn’t be able to strike a deal regarding a trade for cornerback Pacman Jones, it now appears that the two teams are once again working toward getting it done.

According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, a trade finally could be in place by Tuesday.

Per Schefter, the Cowboys had been offering a sixth-round pick, but the Titans had been holding out for a fourth-rounder. The ‘Boys also wanted to recover a pick from the Titans in the future if Pacman were to get in trouble while in Texas.

Our wild guess is that the final deal will be for a fifth-rounder. Or maybe a sixth-rounder in 2008 and a conditional pick in 2009.

None of this means that Jones will be reinstated by the league. If, however, Jones’ rights are held by a more powerful and influential owner like Jerry Jones, there might as a practical matter be more pressure on the league officer to let Pacman play again.

This is getting comical now. One day the trade is practically done, the next day the deal is dead, then the deal is imminent, then the trade is slowly dying, now the deal is back on again for Tuesday.

Yea, I am really holding my breath for the trade to be announced Tuesday. This dam thing has been imminent for like a freaking month.

Like my dad always says, either $#@! or get off the pot. Either do the deal or walk away.

Henry has been unhealthy for about half of the games over the last 3 years - well that's how often it seems to be anyway.

You can probably count on him to come up lame at some point this year which means we need to find at least 2 more CBs (unless Ball is ready to play).

Every year Henry gets hurt so we have never really seen him healthy. Henry would be great at Safety because his ball hawk skills/instincts do a pretty good job of covering up his weaknesses.

I just don't think Henry healthy is in the same class as Pacman.
