Some things just don’t go together. Like ice cream and garlic. Or, as we still haven’t quite learned, Lucky Charms and Pepsi Max.

But while a pairing Robert Kraft and Howard Stern might seem even more ridiculous on the surface, it apparently works well.

The owner of the New England Patriots made an unscheduled pop-in at Stern’s studio on Wednesday, according to SportsBusiness Daily. Kraft, who was touring the Sirius studios with Sirius XM CEO Mel Karmazin, visited on-air with Stern.

During the segment, Kraft declared that his two favorite channels are Stern’s network and Sirius NFL Radio.

And as to Kraft’s comment that his four adult children work with him, Stern said, “If you were my father I would kiss your *** every single day.”

I'm not only a Stern fan (have been for almost 20 years), but Sirius NFL Network really is excellent. I suggest it to all semi-serious football fans.

Stern is a joke.

I doubt that highly, he is carrying Sirius on his back. The man is the KING OF ALL MEDIA for a reason.

Used to love Stern till he went little way to political and then skipped Radio. Seems lot of NFL players listen to him too and fans of him.

I listened to Stern while living in Dallas. I like the guy. He has a funny show.

I wish they had Sirius in Anchorage, where I live. :( I would snap a sub ASAP.

WOW...might put some pressure on the "WE LOVE THE NY FOOTBALL GIANTS" station 124...especially when they are looking for a buyer... :)

Ever since he moved to Sirius I have listened to Howard during that 35 minute drive to and from work every single day. He definitely shortens the drive. Howard rocks. Period.

Better enjoy it now, Sirius is apparently THIS close to filing for bankruptcy...

On an unrelated note, so are the Rite Aid pharmacies, and that's the drug store where I currently get my scrips...

Man, Circuit City, Blockbuster, Rite Aid, Sirius... this thing's fallin' apart in a hurry...

They're negotiating right now with a company that may take over Sirius to avoid the bankrupcy proceedings.

I liked Stern for about a month and some of his stuff is quiet funny, (William Shatner and the Homo Room was funny as hell) but he is incredibly repetitive. The only show I hate worse is Opie and Anthony. Those guys try so hard to be "tough and cool", but you can easily see through their ploy. They are so f'in irritating. They are the kids I went to school with ran their mouths like they were bigshots, then got their head caved in by the class wuss because he was tired of their ****.

It's not Chapter 7 though. It's chapter 11 which is more along the lines of reorganization which they sorely need. The CEO of Echostar is trying to buy Sirius so there must be some value in it. Sirius isn't going anywhere.

Current stockholders are ****ed though. :)

Signing Howard Stern to a $500M contract was idiotic. As soon as I got word that it *MIGHT* happen, I liquidated my holdings and never looked back.

:lmao: You obviously don't like Howard. I'm sure he would say good riddance if he knew you bounced. ;)
