We heard Peter King earlier this afternoon on FOX Sports Radio discussing the recent Hall of Fame vote, which resulted in a decision to enshrine guard Randall McDaniel but not tight end Shannon Sharpe or receiver Cris Carter.
King said that the feeling was that the gap between McDaniel and his peers at the position was bigger than the gap between Sharpe and Carter at theirs.
But King also said that he regards both Sharpe and Carter as Hall of Famers, and it’s likely that they’ll both eventually get in.
