You think they sit around in the off-season and don't discuss every player on the roster? The mere fact Jerry discussed it in his interview with Norm tells you he's thinking about it and mulling over the pros and cons. Jerry didn't come out and say "That's stupid! No way would I release a player of TO's ability!" He couched it in terms of the effect on the cap and being able to re-sign Ware this year.

I actually think there is a pretty good chance Jerry could cut ties with him seeing how much it all effected Romo this year, if a release wouldn't adversly effect the cap too much.

I read somewhere on here that it would be less than a million dollars of a cap hit if he was released. But I don't see him leaving this team till after next season at the very least.
