Terrell Owens has made his feelings known about Tony Romo and Jason Witten. In 2008, in what ended up being Owens’ final season in Dallas, the receiver grew jealous over Romo and Witten’s relationship, accusing the two of holding private meetings to draw up plays. So it comes as no surprise that Owens would praise…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2464545&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

Witten is a "good tight end" at this point in his career. Even his biggest fans wouldn't label the modern day Witten as great or elite anymore...he is a good solid tight end.

What a hack job by the media trying to make something out of absolutely nothing.

Maybe TO will give up on this idea of returning into the NFL and move into some commentating role, you know he has got some offers. He speaks well, he's one of the most recognizable faces of football and it'll probably help him make his way to the Hall of Fame where he belongs.

Was that a shot at Witten or Rico? Because Rico everyone knows Rico will be elite.

It's no secret that Witt is nearing the end of the road. A more athletic TE might add an extra element to the offense but we will not know for a little while. At least, start getting a 2nd TE more involved whoever that might turn out to be.

Oh, I do think it was a subtle shot.......he always seemed a bit jealous of the dynamic duo

I don't think it was a subtle shot at Jason Witten what-so-ever. He was talking about future years with Dak's career going forward and let's face it, Jason probably isn't in that picture. Jason is here now but he's winding down a long career so there should be concerns about the void his absence will leave at the TE position.

Seriously I thought the exact same thing.

I know them two didn't get along but this is making something out of nothing

Well, reading that, one would think TO has a history of torching the bridges he has crossed in life, right? lol The perennial victim. o_O

Cuts off his nose to spite his face.

Great athlete, had great chemistry with Romo. But a stupid guy socially and financially. He's already broke, isn't he?

I totally agree. The author was reading into what Owens said more than was possibly there. Maybe it was a subtle shot, but it would surprise me if Owens wasn't approaching it from the standpoint that Witten isn't in the long-term picture.

TO's history argues otherwise.

I'm still laughing about him thinking Romo and Witten were holding secret meetings to draw up plays LOL
