I have a better jersey question, one which profootballtalk will never conceive to ask:

Is 00 a real jersey number?

Sure, players like Hall of Famer Jim Otto wore the number with distinction, but zero equates to zero. Adding another zero still adds up to nothing. Even the league eventually got around to officially taking the number out of the assignable sequence for jerseys.

Plus, why does PFT call it the Prime Number series? 8 and 9 are not prime numbers.

Different kinds of QBs, both excellent. I loathed Steve Young intensely, but I could respect his talent.

I could see Otto wearing it. Kinda cool.

But I have coached for many many years, .. and found that wearing 0 or 00 is just another way to say, .. "look at me."

I don't like to see it, .. but have no control over that, so what the heck.
