6. QB Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys
Developed quite nicely. You like that he doesn’t have much of a conscience as a quarterback. When he’s on, he can make all of the throws.

11. OLB DeMarcus Ware | Dallas Cowboys
Tremendous. Tremendous. He’s one that you would love to coach.

14. WR Terrell Owens | Dallas Cowboys
A special-type receiver. Still plays fast. Big, powerful. Has a knack for making the difficult catches.

26. RB Marion Barber | Dallas Cowboys
He’s a beast. He runs the ball like it’s his last carry every time.

36. OG Leonard Davis | Dallas Cowboys
He disjointed people.

38. TE Jason Witten | Dallas Cowboys
Going to be a good one for a long time. He’s a weapon downfield, and he’ll block.

Honorable Mention:
Cowboys OLB Greg Ellis
Cowboys C Andre Gurode
Cowboys FS Ken Hamlin

5. SS Bob Sanders | Indianapolis Colts

I think Bob Sanders is the gold standard. What he does for that football team is unique.

That's probably why noone can describe what it is.

I love how people are hating on Sanders just because he's getting press, like he can somehow control that.

He's a darn good player, and there's no denying that Colts defense is like night and day when he's in there.

How can you hate a guy that plays with that much heart?

That being said, to rate him higher than L.T. is ridiculous.

Just saw Jeff Garcia on the list, while Palmer and Brees are nowhere to be found. Hasselbeck and Garrard also make bizarre appearances.

Bob Sanders, Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger don't really seem top 10 worthy.

I like that they ranked Westbrook as the league's best back.

Not really sold on Addai being the third best back in the league, though.

There are two LTs on the list. Walter Jones and Jason Peters. I'm not sure either one deserves it. I doubt Leonard Davis was the league's best guard.

I don't buy Willis as the league's best ILB/MLB.

I think #'s 43-46 reflect how much thought they put into this.

43. DE Patrick Kerney | Seattle Seahawks

Hardworking tough guy.

44. CB Champ Bailey | Denver Broncos

He’ll play the whole game.

45. OLB Mike Vrabel | New England Patriots

His consistency (stands out).

46. DE Osi Umenyiora | New York Giants

Has gotten a little better every game.

26. RB Marion Barber | Dallas Cowboys

Where is JJ? 26th best player in the NFL but it took all season to figure it out?

And people still haven't figured out that they weren't starting JJ because they thought he was better.

Could not disagree with you more. Walter Jones is probably the best overall LT in the whole league. Davis might not have been the best RG but tell me who was so much better that you'd have rather had them then Davis.

Willis, I'll somewhat agree with you, because I'm a bigger fan of Ryan in Houston and Lofa in Seattle but he was definately a huge player for a pretty bad SF defense.

Westbrook is a good move.

I don't know what Brett Farve you saw this year but I thought he was pretty darn good, once more, this year. Of course I'm sure most people are on that idea that some how based off of one half of football that Rogers will be better than him.

I do somewhat agree with you on Big Ben though. I think he's a very good QB but i dont know if he's top 10 players in the league worthy.

Bob Sanders...hmmmm....I don't know. It's hard to go against him cause he is a HUGE difference between the Colts defense with him and without him.

If this was a "how they performed this year" report then Peterson should rank above Westbrook and possibly even LT. Reggie Wayne I think is too high and what about Hester? Maybe as a kick returner but not as a WR, he is middle of the pack at best.

Im not hating on Sanders but I do think is far from a top 50 player in the league and him as DPOY is down right idiotic.
maybe their defense was night and day but take any above average NFL defensive player with no dept at his position and you could say the same for his team.
Dallas with out a doubt is night and day with out Henry in the line up and he is a good corner but I wouldnt give him DPOY and he had better stats than sanders

Davis might have been the major reason for going fom a 9 win season to a 13 win season and I dont think there is a guard inthe league I would take over Davis.
