Phillipe Lopez hired as Hall of Fame Racing Crew Chief

Posted by Sideline at 5:23 pm
Hall of Fame Racing announced yesterday that Phillipe Lopez has been hired as crew chief. Phillipe was previously with Richard Childress Racing. It’s exciting to report that not only has Hall of Fame Racing been blessed with a terrific primary sponsor: Texas Instruments DLP™ Products, and the opportunity to work closely with Joe Gibbs Racing - we are thrilled that Phillippe Lopez, a truly great guy is our Crew Chief. Previously Phillippe was with Richard Childress Racing and was one of the first hires the late Dale Earnhardt made when he formed his Cup team.

Below is the first “inside look” at HOFR’s Garage in Charlotte. In fact, the space was negotiated for us by Chris Skibinski and Blair Bryan who are part of The Staubach Company’s Charlotte commercial real estate team. The 32,190 sf facility was formerly the headquarters of Herzog-Jackson Motorsports.

The Charlotte Observer reported earlier this week that HOFR was talking with several well-known drivers such as Mike Wallace, Tony Raines, Ward Burton and Terry Labonte. More on our drivers will be announced as we close the deals….

In closing today, please keep in mind that DLP technology will give NASCAR fans the ultimate high-definition viewing of the races! Expect to see a lot of information on DLP HDTV all during the 2006 NASCAR season. Keep DLP in mind when you’re Shopping.

Alright. I hope they get Jerry to throw in some money, and we can get the star somewhere on the car.
