I have a feeling he's doing a bit of elaboration here. Otherwise Hamlin has a lot more range than anyone ever thought. Williams will have to play a part sooner or later.

He was talking about giving corners help. Then they asked about giving Roy help. It seemed like Wade was responding to giving Roy help so he could play next to the LOS. That's what he meant by Hamlin helps Roy out. He's able to cover more as FS, so Roy can move up to the LOS.
