I wonder how all the people that declared Asante was a system cb, not worth the money, overrated, etc feel ab out him now.

That he just had a duck by Eli land in his lap. This time he caught it, unlike in the Super Bowl.

My biggest fear is seeing a Steelers/Giants superbowl become a reality. So I have to <cough...cough...> pull for the eaglets. This would at least help the little birdies from Arizona get home field advantage for the NFC Championship game - I can live with that.

With that said, I can't emphasize enough my desire to NOT see the hated Steelers going for their sixth ring. Without a doubt, this scenario playing out would bother me more than anything else.

His INT against Eli and last week against Jackson were the ultimate gimmies. All he's doing is sitting on routes which is what he did in New England.

Eli also saved him in that 1st drive when Samuel jumped a route and got burned by Smith. That possibly would have been a TD if he hits Smith in stride.

Once teams can realize that he sits on routes, he can be easily exploited with the ole' pump fake.

By coverage stats, I mean attempts and completions. INTs doesn't tell you much about a DB, but the 22 PDs is pretty darn good.
