I'm from NY so I may be blind in wanting Philly to destroy the idiotic NYG led by the worst QB in the NFL. Get NY as far as possible away from our record, they have the tie breaker.

Sheldon Brown just returned a Jacobs fumble to the house. 14-0 Philly.

we need NY to win...then if we beat wash and philly we are in...
otherwise, if we lose to NO next week we are two games out of first and two games out of the wildcard spot...I hate NY but we need them to win...

:laugh2: Looks like Philly will put the nail in the Giants tonight, unlike the sorry excuse for a team Cowboys.

God can no one come to some sort of agreement on which scenario plays out best for us. Half says NY needs to win, half says Philly.

depends on if you think we can beat NO...if yes then pull for philly, if not then pull for NY...

How about none? With the way Cowboys are playing, it doesn't matter. I would like Giants to miss playoffs too though.

Just as I figured. The Giants will probably lay down for the Eagles today just like every other team does with them.

It's a no-brainer. Someone else said it above. We need the Giants to win, because that way we just have to beat the Skins and the Eagles in the last 2 weeks and we're in NO MATTER WHAT, even if the Giants and Eagles win all the rest of their games (except the Eagles against us, of course). However, if the Eagles win tonight, assuming the same thing happens in the rest of our games as the above scenario (lose to Saints, beat Skins and Eagles), we need either the Giants or Eagles to lose one more game.

It would be dumb to root for the Eagles, as a Giants win means we don't have to hope for any other losses for the Giants or Eagles, instead just simply have to focus on beating the Skins and Eagles in the last 2 weeks.

see how nasty that Philly defense is? I wish our defense was half as nasty as Philly's is

If the Giants lose tonight, we would need them to lose once again vs the Commanders, Panthers or Vikings. The Vikings would usually be counted as a automatic loss but it is in week 17. The Vikings will have their spot wrapped up and sit players.

WE WANT THE GIANTS TO WIN. It would help our playoff chances a lot.
