True, its the oddsmakers oppinion of who is actually the better team taking into account injuries and subplotes and history and such, but also the line is adjusted with what oddsmakers feel the publics oppinion might be.

So a lot of people will go with the eagles because of their past history over the cowboys, therefore the line has to be adjusted for that. you dont want too much money on one side.
