I'm a realist who leans a little more to the pessimist side. Listen, I look at the Cowboys and say in 50 years they have accomplished a lot more than the Eagles have in their 75 or whatever years it has been. It's just that I am tired of being owned by them for pretty much this whole decade. Unfortunately, they have had a pretty good run even of they have come up empty while we, seem to be running on empty since 1996. That is a awful long time.

I live about 30 minutes away from the Eagles stadium. I hate them more than anyone. Their fans are awful. The games against them every year are the 2 most important games of the year for me. Last years game was so bad that the eagles fans i was watching the game with actually felt sorry for me. So i know what you mean.

However, even eagles fans look at our team and say they wish they had the talent we have. They wish they had our QB,TE,RB's, They wanted RW11, Ware ect. They even realize that we are an extremely talented team.
They will say that we are a scary team that should go to the superbowl. They said it last year, they will say it again this year.
If eagles fans can see our talent why is it that you can't?

Why does this draft bother you so much? What would you have done that would have made us better this year? We couldnt have gotten a starter at 51.

If our team plays like a team then nothing the eagles, giants, or Commanders can do will matter. If we take care of business and find a way to put it all together then we will still be standing in the end.

Yes they are. If the Lions have a draft that puts them over and Everyone screamed how great the Vikings were last year, How did that work out? How about if Chicago pulls it together are the Vikings better than them because last year everyone screamed how great the Vikings were?

It doesnt go off popular votes, this is not a reality tv show. This is real life, where the players, coaches, refs can all make a difference.

we can go in circles til the begining of the season, but calm down and wait and see what happens. Thats the whole point. Dont let ESPN or any of the sport shows give you an opinion. Wait for the events to unfold, you might be shocked.

Personally i stopped listening to these shows because they want ratings and are paid to do a job which no one can predict. Todays dead on report is tomorrows guess.

We dont know how things are going to go and the game has got to be played for their to be a solid concrete verdict, all other talking is just guessing.

How many years did people call for the Cardinals to be good? You scream it enuff, its bound to happen. If they are falter this year, are they still that dominate and the team to beat?

Didnt they lose their heart and best defensive player in Brian Dawkins?
Look at their receivers. Whats so special? I player they just drafted that has a better chance of being a bust than a probowler.

If you want to point to their positives then make sure you also point to their negatives.

I live near the area so I see alot of the fans, etc. I don't care what the fans say. They boo McNabb and I always told Eagles fans, I would love to have him (pre-Romo). I don't think we are the most talented team. That is hype. But, you have to do something with that talent, which we can't seem to do. My fear is Roy Williams will not be a difference maker.

Now, and I said this before 2008, if the Cowboys can beef up O-line and commit to the run, it would take pressure of Romo ( I doubt he ever duplicates 2007 stats). Control the clock, get the edge in T.O.P. and keep defense fresh, there might be a chance. But, the defensive pressure must be there every game. Unfortunately, it seems the Eagles match up extremely well against the Boys and I want nothing more than to beat them.

But whatever you want to do man its kewl. You want to tell us how great the Eagles are, you go right for it. Because at the end of the year they wont make the SB either.

At the end of the day we split with them and they lost to the Cardinals, so now the Cardinals are the team to beat. Like anyone will admit to that but hey, they went further. So they must be good, they wont be a one year wonder or anything because ESPN wont admit as much or say it like it is.

Buckhalter kept Westbrook as fresh as some rookie will. Westbrook had injury problems. Probably will again.

Having a probowl 3rd corner is a big advantage when you have Jim Johnson as D coach. They blitz out of every formation, Especially 3rd down. Nothing is more important that your corners being able to man up while you blitz. They lost that and Dawkins. Thats huge.

If Mcnabb makes their receivers so special then why have they gone through so many that i bet you cant remember who they had over the last couple years. Who was their last Probowl receiver besides TO? hmmm you dont know do you?

point is the bucs lost and had to beat us to get in and they beat us down. they're not a super unbeatable team but they are better than us. we're nothing more than a bunch of big regular season stats that quits in December. we're nothing special
