I know this will get moved. Looks like they got owned. Moats might be done for the year. May not be big news, but I liked the guy. I am pretty suprised that Barber became the better player. Anyway, Cowboys look good. Giants, Commanders and now Philthy.... :D

Im from the Philly area and have to say that the Eagles pretty much brought their B squad to Baltimore. They had no McNabb, Shawn Andrews, Brian Dawkins, Jon RUnyan[I beileve} and no LJ SMith. In a weird note, the Ravens were blitzing on almost every down. Moose was commenting on it about Rex Ryan doesnt care whether its preseason or Superbowl hes going to blitz.

However, the jury is still out on the Eagles role players. Max Jean Giles was dominated at OT by the hybrid LB's the Ravens had. The recievers were awful. I go on record as saying the Eagles will go as far as Brian Westbrook and Brian Dawkins take them. As with Mcnabb, you seen what happen when he wasnt there last season, the team just rolled on. In closing, I wasnt impressed at all tonight by them.

I hope that's how they play against us this year.

That Eagles team last night was terrible!

The only talent they had was Westbrook.

And as for that supposed 'depth' on the offensive line?

I sure didn't see it.

Giles was projected as a guard- what in the world are they doing sticking him at tackle?

I can't wait to hear that dope howard eskin try to spin what happened last night. 93 yrd opening drive. From what i've been reading Bunkley was a non factor and takeo spikes whiffed on a few tackles. Eskin makes me sick . He said the eagles would win 12 games.lol....

Did Anyone watch the Eagles game last night? I saw the highlights this morning and it looked pretty bad. I can see why McNabb didn't start. From what I saw the Ravens got abotu 5 clean shots on Kolb. I don't mean good sacks, but he looks like he got blasted. The punter also got smacked too. The Ravens looked pretty dang good.

I enjoyed every bit of it.

They got their collective 'clocks cleaned' from start to finish.

1st string, 2nd string, 3rd string - heck 4th string too!

Now watch the Eagles fans avoid this forum like the plague!

Countdown to the "it's just the preseason" crowd...10...9...8...

Seriously, it's impossible to tell how good or bad a team is this early, but I like nothing more than to see division opponents get their behinds handed to them. So it's all good.

Probably because he ate himself out of the position and is like 400 pounds.

It looked like the Birds let several key players sit, even from the start. On defense they were giving up hugh chunks of yards to the ravens first team, McGhee and Heap were running through that defense like it was a college team.

However i really dont think the eagles were trying to field a competetive squad last night so i dont know how to evaluate.

I watched the game. The Eagles did look very bad. They were missing some key starters, but let's remember they were missing them for a reason - they're injured. Here are some notes that were of interest:

- McNabb said he still has sharp pain in his knee, not sure he'll be ready for the next pre-season game

- Moats looks like he had a season ending knee injury, but it looked like he wasn't going to make the roster anyway

- Ike Reese, who was doing color for the game, said during the broadcast, "The Eagles offensive line is really struggling to deal with the 3-4 scheme. Thankfully, no teams in the NFC East run the 3-4". Doh! LOL.

- Reggie Brown couldn't get any separation at all during the game.

- Brian Westbrook looked real sharp, he's their offense IMHO.

- Bunkley and Patterson looked overmatched, I'm not sure they are starters at this level. D-Line got no pressure (they were the four projected starters), only pressure came from blitzing.

- Lots of missed tackles

Glad to see they looked bad (I'd especially love to see Giles, Justice, and Bunkley bust big time), but those injuries just make me hope that we get out unscathed each game.

Giles is a guard. Why is he playing tackle anyway?

I agree. This is one of the challenges the Cowboy have this year taking the NFC East. It is great to talk about how over rated the eagles are or how their QB is over rated but until the Cowboys knock them off the top of the NFC East it is just a bunch of talk.
