I got a DUI in college back in the early 80's. It's not like anyone that has made a stupid college mistake is garbage. I get tired of hearing this stuff. You would think the guy committed armed robbery. I've been a federal agent for the past 23 years. I think I overcame a one night mistake and turned out pretty well.

I think you completely missed the point which was that most everyone has something in their younger years that served as a wake up call. Most humans are not perfect.

Never had one myself, but have several friends who have. The board is a bunch of nuns at times!

I would guess more people get killed as a result of DUI than armed robberies

As others have said, you obviously have no idea what I was saying. Yes, people can and do lose their lives. I'm fully aware of that. It happened to this team just last year. However, my point was that it doesn't make you a criminal or a person of bad character. It can happen to almost anyone that has a few drinks at dinner or after work. Should it? No, but again, it doesn't make you garbage. I guess you're a Saint.

I'm thinking this presents an immediate challenge to OScan's role in the the defense. It should be interesting to see how the competition unfolds on defense with Holloway and Wilcox in the mix.

The fact that you overcame it doesn't make it okay, it's completely justified to bring it up. I hear what you're saying, but driving drunk can have terrible repercussions, even if it's just once and acting like people judge it the same way they'd judge armed robbery is complete hyperbole.
