Well yeah. That's the most likely.Or, those teams already have two great receivers and maybe the Cowboys should concentrate on keeping both of theirs.
This is a hunch, coupled with the ole eyeball test, but I feel Flournoy will become a star soon. It could make Pickens or ceedee even more dynamic if this kid runs wild. He's got yac written all over him. That's not what CD and Pickens are. But he can be. He's electric.I like having both and Flournoy at 3. The best WR trio that we’ve had since T.O., Terry Glenn and Patrick Crayton.
I don't have a problem with it But I think most of today's athletes are drastically overpaid. But the NFL players from the 60s and 70s were drastically underpaid so that evens out in my book.I consider your response as a “no” to $35 million per season.
That is a fair statement.Lamb is a much more complete receiver than the Pickens.
Lamb can haul in a 40 yard bomb like Pickens, but Pickens can't separate on an 8 yard slant route like Lamb.
I think he failed to look in the one that he dropped against Green Bay. Dropped it for the same reason that Lamb dropped his against the Eagles, trying to run with the ball and assuming the catch. The one against the Jets got through traffic and I don't think he expected it to make it through cleanly. His hands weren't quite in the right position for where the ball ended up.GP3's good but the same route he dropped vs GB, he dropped today as well. Those are both TD's if he squeezes them. One of those drops might have been the backbreaker vs GB.
Being a curious sort I went and looked up some playoff caliber opponents and how CeeDee has done against them.I will say this about Lamb. In big games he seems to choke. I kind of feel like Pickens vs GB has already proven to be more clutch than any big game Lamb has had here. Lamb seems to eat vs bad teams.
I saw a graphic that said Jamar Chase and CeeDee were #1 and #2 in drops since 2021. Chase was #1 until Lamb overtook him in the Philly game. My guess is with Lamb out Chase has reclaimed the crown. Even the best drop some.. It is what it is.. I think CeeDee got it out of his system in one game.. We won't see a repeat of that until he's like 40 and half blind.I'm off to see the "drops" stats of the other 3.
(no challenge intended! Just curious if this "drops" thing is real!)
I suppose this is like MLB home run hitter....leads in strikeouts? But also HR's RBIs,etc.I saw a graphic that said Jamar Chase and CeeDee were #1 and #2 in drops since 2021. I think guys who fancy themselves a playmaker are gonna drop a few trying to set themselves up to make a move the instant they catch it. The best at this snatch the ball out of the air and tuck it while turning upfield. However sometimes the ball will trick you and come in at an angle that won't allow you to do that. A ball coming right at your face is one of the hardest to catch because of the whole depth perception thing. Add in a DB pullin at you and you got all kinda fun comin your way. It's a skill to be sure. Some have it, some don't. I was lucky in that I could catch the ball from the time I was like 4 years old. It was never hard for me... so when I was younger I always had difficulty understanding why it was hard for some others.. Eventually I just learned to accept the gift and keep it movin. I will say this.. in high school I found out about guys who throw with "big league velocity" my junior year. Our QB that year was Tim Groves, who got a full ride to U of Florida. Ironically he went there the same time as Collinsworth. Both failed miserably at QB. Collinsworth got moved to WR and Tim got moved to safety. Anyway, the first time I ever played catch with Tim at practice he about broke my fingers.. I could literally hear the ball whistling as it approached. And there were no gloves for us back then.. The hands took all the smoke.. pun intended!!I suppose this is like MLB home run hitter....leads in strikeouts? But also HR's RBIs,etc.
LOL...CD hitting 40....you got me good!
Dak was having a horrible season until Amari got here. It's possible that without Amari that Dak wouldn't have got the contract he has today.Nope. It was the opposite. Cooper was dumped by the Raiders because he was playing bad. Then he blew up once he got to Dallas.
And what does that have to do with Dak helping Amani get paid?Dak was having a horrible season until Amari got here. It's possible that without Amari that Dak wouldn't have got the contract he has today.
XD We gave up a first round pick to acquire Cooper. Dak was having a failing season before Amari Cooper rejuvenated his career. Are you trying to rewrite that history? And what does that have to do with Dak helping Amani get paid?
Dak wasn't the one who was kicked off his team cause he was playing bad. It was Cooper . And he had his best seasons in his career here with Dak. Not with any other QB Meanwhile Dak has played better with other WRs.

Comb your beard and calm down. What threads are necessary? And who is this topic causing drama with? Unaffiliated U.S. couch potatoes with their keyboards or actual players and coaches who impact the game?Good thing you need multiple WRs. Unnecessary thread trying to create drama. Go watch General Hospital.
