Pickens is good but annoying

Pickens is fun to watch he doesn’t bother me in the least . He finds the end zone gashes the D with chunk yards gets Lamb open just by being an actual threat . Dallas is at home on the MNF bright lights stage I expect nothing short of 38 points from the offense .

Will it be enough ?

:huh::espn:

Not only does he have a big mouth, but the guy wants to talk crap to the other team while his team is getting their teeth kicked in.

He also has this cringe flop routine that he does atleast once a game. He did it against Washington trying to draw a flag, then he did in against Denver while going out of bounds, which BTW was right in front of the cowboys bench, which made his own teammates look at him like he was an idiot.

I expect flop routines to be done in the NBA, not the NFL. In the NFL, the refs are not calling that. It's not even on their radar of calls to make.

Teammates on the sideline had that look like "cmon bro, please stop". I was embarrassed for the guy myself.

Pickens has that dog in him, I'll give him that, but at the same time, he is a childish bafoon.

Pickens is like one of those ADHD, hyperactive little kids who can't control himself at times.
You Must be bored. God forbid there be someone on this team with attitude lol

I think there's a real issue. But it isn't Pickens. The media tore him apart. We haven't seen anything here at all that would be annoying. I didn't know him before he got here. So I only knew the media driven caricature of him. There's just no evidence at all that he's anything other than a great teammate who does his job WAY better than most of the people in the league.

If we had any defense at all we'd be hoping for a Superbowl this year. He's a big part of the reason why.

Guy is playing like his hair is on fire.
He has been lucky so far but sooner or later he is going to get unsportsmanlike penalty for taunting after making a big play that will hurt some.

But I do like a guy with fire. You can tell he loves it and passionate about it. Those kind of guys will give their all as long as they feel valued.

Tell us you’re 80 without telling us your 80.

As of this point in time, Pickens has been a valuable asset to the Cowboys. His production has been successful to an extraordinary extent, especially with CeeDee having his bodily dings lately. For the time being, things are going well with him on the offensive side of the ball.

Let's hope that lasts as long as possible, or until this team can't afford to retain his services in the future. It'll likely be a sad day for us, but he'll likely command far more than Jerry can afford later on. Until then, his services will be greatly appreciated by yours truly and most of us.

This offense would seriously suffer without him, by all of the current indications. In that event, here's hoping the next draft manages to replace him as much as that might be possible. It's for sure the defense will command much of the attention, though. We'll see about all that in due time.

You getting ready for Thanksgiving and that Cowboys Game? I am and looking for the Cowboys moving on to at least 6 more wins. :starspin:

Sign him now...he either has heart or the Scouting department doesn't earn a paycheck. That I don't believe.

I sincerely hope that turns out to be the case. Anything can happen with this defense, however. Let's keep our hopes up for some encouraging happenings, especially on that side of the ball. Several of our returners should aid that needy cause. I'll enjoy the coming games, win or lose.

Just a middle of the road defense and the team should reach the bottom of the shows.

Schottenheimer claims culture is strong, but Cowboys' discipline betrays them weekly

Jerry can set this tone himself by showing aggression with a player.

As to Coach, he better be getting into some faces. He sets the team's aggression. Not a flop labeling by fans here.

As long as he remains good, I'll take the annoying. This is a thing that will work itself out. He could mature and stop being annoying. The other scenario I see is he stops being good and then he gets cut for being annoying.

It was the word coming from Steeler fans and the Steeler front office that drove almost all of that by leaking stuff to the press which was picked up by the fans. Meanwhile, here, GP has been a total pro and is delivering on the field.

Even now, we’ve twice seen Terry Bradshaw throwing shade at GP, speculating that it’s only a matter for time before GP creates drama with CeeDee. And where does he get that? From his deep Steeler contacts that he keeps to this day.

It’s not any different than what we saw with Micah. Front office leaks to media which publishes to the fans who turn on the player. Meanwhile, Green Bay fans are loving him and saying he’s been a perfect Packer.

:flagwave: I'm not upset with a butt dial. I'm really not impressed with no public service and a sense of entitlement and a leadership point in a strong suggested change. Go figure, if one can ...

He's goofy indeed, I get your point. But it's not annoying as long as he keeps balling as he is
