Joshskeety and I went to the Dallas Cowboys draft party Saturday in Arlington, TX. We had a blast at the event, sitting at a table in the front of the room with DAFAN and his lovely wife and with our hundreds of pages of draft analysis in tow. There was a lot of draft banter going back and forth between us and host Brad Sham. As each team was on the clock, Brad predicted one player would be selected while we predicted another player would be selected. It was a fun guessing game to play with Brad. The most entertaining banter Josh and I had with Brad Sham involved the Cowboys' second pick in the 1st round. We held up a note with "James Hardy" written on it (WR from Indiana). Brad Sham saw what we wrote and said to us, "You know, James Hardy was just arrested for spousal abuse…." My reply: "I'm not married to him…"

Great pics!

I saw Ware out at a restaurant a couple of weekends ago -- he came and picked up a to-go order just a few feet from me. And I have to say, I don't get the people who have seen him and say he's a lot smaller than they expected. Um, what were people expecting? Maybe compared to Flozell he's small, but he looked like a pretty big, strong mofo to me.
