Looking at it again, you're right. It's impossible to tell what they were saying. Think back to the video of Dez "yelling" at Romo on the sideline. We heard the audio and he was saying something like "We're the best at that!" He was just fired up but not being negative at all. Pics can be deceiving.

I thought the same thing, but then I noticed that the next two guys next to him seem to be pointing and laughing, as if taunting Romo. I still can't be for sure what is actually happening though, because picture stills can be deceiving, as you stated.

You guys do bring up a good point, he could be just holding it down. Just awkward to be holding it with Prescotts name at him with seemingly guys laughing around him.

Forget the meme, the fact that a Cowboys fan did that is embarrassing. We are creating a culture that is going to have Romo coming back here with a vengence for no reason. Regardless of what this team didnt accomplish in his tenure, Romo is a Boys legend...his injuries are a result of Jerry openly neglecting putting an Oline around him for about 5 brutal years. Romo is one of the greatest QBs to ever play this game, as a fanbase we should act like it.
We may differ in our opinion on Romo but if you don't think he has been (and still is) a great QB and the only thing keeping us afloat for the last 6 years and a total pro and don't respect all he has done on and off the field, then you are not a Cowboys fan and don't really know a lot about football

This is my take also. However, I can understand why someone would think the fan is mocking Romo. Not a good look, and unfortunately opens the door for interpretation...both in support of and against Romo.

Romo will be alright. He has 100 million and will get even more money somewhere else next season. We all know the love/hate relationship he's had with fans around here. A picture can say anything you guys want it to say. If Prescott is right behind him which the quarterbacks usually do which is stick around each other then what?

I agree but will not blame it on Jerry. Romo style of play has lead to his injuries. What has made him great has lead to those injuries by holding onto the ball until the last second exposing himself to hits. The injuries of late have been behind one of the best OL in the NFL.
I think what this fan is doing it classless as it gets, Romo deserves better than that but there are a lot of idiot fans out there.
