Pile calling Keith Davis a star???

A direct quote from Pile in a DC.com article:

"I'm a protection guy on kickoff return and on kickoff," Pile said. "A guy like KD (Keith Davis), he made his mark on special teams and now he's a star. You have to go through and earn your stripes."

I just found that odd. Hopefully Keith Davis does emerge as a star at FS, but that's yet to be proven.

Just means that Davis has gotten a place at the table and no longer gets his playing time exclusive on special teams.

i think he was the best special teams player in the league last year.
