If they run the ball, that couldn't have happened. If he had thrown a pass that gets broken up or dropped. You still get this outcome. It wrong to call that play. There is no if and or buts about it. The Giants should have ran the ball plain and simple.

Again I would have called run but I saw nothing wrong with pass and even Romo said it was a good thing Marinelli did not send a run blitz which would have allowed the opportunity for a WR or TE to be wide open for an easy touch down. I think the bigger mistake was once Eli saw no one open he goes to the turf and lets the clock run out.

Again, if he throws *ANY* incomplete pass, the result is the same. If you run the ball, you can't have an incomplete pass.

I understand but to say your way is the only way is BS, TD wins the game and they went for it his mistake and eli said it as well was not taking the sack once he saw Dallas had the play covered.

I agree however once Eli saw there was no one open then just take the sack. Just knell down the clock keeps running but throwing it away only helped the Cowboys

Yep. That was stupid. I've seen teams do that and it's a smart move. Drop back and see if there are any open receivers. If not, fall down and take the sack. But NEVER throw it away in that situation.

There is something wrong with it. Very wrong, and it was the catalyst to why they lost.

I see teams play not to lose and end up losing all the time. Up 3, you can go for 3 and hope you stop them or go for 7 and put the nail in the coffin. Nothing wrong with going for 7. But HOW they went for 7 was very stupid. Eli could've taken the sack when he saw no one was open, or they could've run on 3rd to burn clock and go for it on 4th to get the win. The way they did it was awful and gave us a chance to win.
