im a 22 (soon to be 23) year old male who is coming off a recent break up. I have been doing better recently but i still have my moments. It sucks to be alone now and i dont want to be alone for the rest of my life as i would like to settle down and have someone to do stuff with.

So my question is: What are the best places to meet girls/women? How did you members meet your spouses? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on what you are looking for. My brother thinks I am lucky to have found my wife. Lucky my foot. I wasn't looking for a woman in a bar and then later wondering why she wasn't faithful.

A guy once told me he had slept with 38 different women. Big damned deal. Anyone can be a slut. There's a man who belongs to my church who lost his wife of 68 years 3 years ago. If she had not passed away they would be celebrating 71 years now and looking for more. To me that is far more impressive than revolving sexual conquests.

You're young enough to have time to find someone who will appreciate you for who you are. Just make sure you know what you are looking for and refuse to compromise. Be realistic, but refuse to compromise.

One guy used to give me grief over waiting. When I came back to work from my honeymoon, he asked me if I felt more like a man. I recently heard he is on his 4th marriage. That made me feel more like a man. No woman ever left me.

I met my wife while I was tending bar in college and haven't left her side in fifteen years. She was a waitress at the same restaurant. If you want a job that gives you the opportunity to meet girls, then waiting tables is not a bad option for you. Tons of college girls work those jobs.

A few of my friends found what is now their spouse on eharmony.com, but there is a free website called plentyoffish.com that is pretty popular in certain regions.
