3 catches for 48 yards with a much better Steelers team.

The steelers "Team" may have been better, but the Giants have a better passing game now then the Steelers had at that time last year.

I'm not so sure that the Giants passing game is better than the Steelers were last year(questionable). Heinz Ward and Randle El are both pretty good recievers. Ward finished with 9 catches for 76 yards last year.

Possibly, DaBoyz, but Plaxico certainly seems to be more involved in New York's passing attack than he was in Pittsburgh's. He's off to the best four-game start of his career.

Yes those stats really resemble burress all the way. I mean it wasnt like ward was there number 1 option last year, and they Ran the ball first, more then any other team in attempts unless Atl was 1 and Pitt was 2 but i believe Pitt was one.

So lets see. Pitt = Run, then Pass to Ward then Pass to Plax.
Giants = Now they are passing a bit more then running and Plax is the 1st option not the 3rd.

Feel free to check his stats after this sundays game.

No. 1 Receiver usually equals double coverage. My only question is who was double covered more last year Ward or Burress? Strenght of schedule also has alot to do with the fast start for Burress this year. He can be easily frustrated ie.. Randy Moss and T.O.. These stats won't matter when our young guns are in Eli's face.

Actually from what i heard Plax was doubled more then ward. When we played SD they Doubled Plax so Shockey had over 100 yds, the week after the Rams doubled Shock, so Eli went to Plax thats why he had over 200 yds. Kinda like pick your poison.

I would of agreed with you last year about the pressure, but you have got too see the way Eli has been working the line, its unreal. But the line has only given up 6 sacks. Also we have been causing big plays when teams start to blitz eli often. That is a big diff. from what we did in the past, we could never pick up the blitz and eli had trouble with pocket presence.

I am concerned about your blitz, i think it will be another test for us, but i believe Eli and the Line will do alright, They have improved from game to game. Should be interesting.

Im not 100% sure what you are trying to portray but....

Dont forget that the giants had a bye week and we only played 4 games, while your team played 5 games. So i believe one extra game makes a diff. in stats dont you? Btw dont forget Tiki catches that ball, not as much this year with Plax, Shock, and Toomer, but he does...

Oh and dont forget the ave. Tiki is ave. 4.5 yards a carry, while Jacobs is at 5 yards a carry, and both ur Rbs are about 3.4 & 3.5 yards per carry. I would take the rbs with the higher carry per ave.

We have averaged more yards per game against the leagues tougher defenses. The Giants racked up most of their yards on the awesome Rams Defense. What exactly have Eli and your Giants proved? San Diego was the toughest game and they B**** slapped the G-men. The Giants are in the process of building Eli's confidence, this is the game where his confidence will be shattered. Next up Broncos and Commanders. You could very well be looking at 3-4 in a few weeks.

lol wow... Lets see you played against SD without Gates who is pretty much the best 1-2 tes this season, and broke records last year, and LT2 got approx 19 touches, and on the last 4 downs of the game the best player didnt even get the ball once. Right...

Then you played a horrible raiders defense who get flagged every other play.

Do i even mention the killer SF game you gave up 31 pts too? And wow what a defense they have. I think they allow more pts then any other team in the league.

Then the no Offense Skins you get 1 td by a trick play and can score 13 pts, and lose within 3 mins of the game on 2 bombs, talk about suspect secondary?

Then you prob had the best game ever in years on offense, defense and ST and started in great field position most of the game and beat the Eagles.

So before you trivialize another opponent look at the teams you faced. Oh wait thats right they played dallas so that means they had the best Defenses and Offenses in the league right?

We will see who is right by sunday.

No, oh and dont forget lol j/k... LOL

I am optimistic about my team just like you guys are, i just visited this forum too see what the opponents have to say, but when people are making such blind statements i feel i can interject some facts to the discussion.

I still need to see what they do the next 2 weeks to get an idea. I think Dallas has improved but i think most ppl dont know if the Skins, Dallas, or the Giants are for real. Figure it will take our teams another 2-3 weeks too see for sure.

Ok I'm done. The reality is that almost half of Eli's passing yards came against the Chargers. This normally happens when the opposing defense goes to prevent. So it looks good on the stats, but the truth is that Eli is still not that good yet.The Chargers defense gave up some charity in that game.
