You play Dak Prescott, end of story. Mess up or not, you are not going to risk the future starting QB for this team to try and coddle a few fans love affair with Romo. I'll repeat this in case the Romo crowd didn't hear me. HE'S HAD 10 YEARS TO DO SOMETHING AND HASN'T. I'm not going back down that road again.
Bro ! Man I luv you heaps/bunches BUT you ain't Al Gore the science is in end of discussion,,, STOP with the intolerance gavel slam, (please for the sake of the children ,your tearing this dysfunctional fanatic football fan base to shreds with your seething no-mo-romo displays,,,,)

You may not "risk" the future to coddle a few fans love affair, but you could "risk" the future to try and win a SB IF your rookie QB is in a slump and underperforming. Quit being so naïve and acting as if Romo never done anything for this franchise. Not a QB in the league was winning "something" with the rosters from 2008 until the trenches got drafted. Some of JJ worst drafts and FA were done during Romo's prime.

We have TWO very talented Quarterbacks, with TWO winning skill sets. They both know how to win, and work well with THIS offense.

Smartest thing to do would be to play both QBs! Mix it up... alternate drives, game plan them both. Defenses won't know what to do. We have TWO elite QBs, use them both!

If we play our cards right, we can use this to our advantage. Don't hamstring ourselves keeping Romo on the bench. Dak IS a rookie (talented, but a rookie nonetheless)... 1 - he is not used to playing 16 games (many rookie QBs begin to fade in the 4th quarter of the season. 2 - Defenses now have plenty of game film on Dak, and are going to school. 3 - Romo is healthy and ready to go... and is a proven commodity. 4 - If we mix it up with Dak and Romo, it could make them both more effective.
Uh, no.

You'll go back down that road with the rest of us, Clove. And you'll like it.

Oh, yes. YOU are going back to the front, my friend.

LOL!!!

Don't worry. Its not happening. The Cowboys and Dak will bounce back against the Bucs and all this will go away.

I've been thinking the same thing. A nightmare for another team to prepare for 2 QBS with 2 different styles and skillets.

But we would never do it because we need to think in the box... what is the norm? and for heavens sake... never never be innovative. thinking outside of the box is blasphemy.

until someone else does it and wins. then we should copycat their great and innovative idea... like rotating dlinemen... or running backs... who woulda thought?
