With the luxury of having to first round picks and being so close to the Sauperbowl we can dangle one of them for a veteran who will put us over the top and get us to the Superbowl. A few names that are out there and you tell me if you would give up a number one for them.

1. Fitzgerald= Where do we sign........... This is a no brainer. Fitzgerald is I beileve only 25 and catches a 100 balls a season.

2. Champ Bailey= He's getting up there in age but has a few good seasons left. With a change of scenery and the chance to go to the Bowl I think he would be very motivated. This is what we need but is he worth a number 1???

3. Ashimouda= This guy might be the best db in football but he's lost in Oakland. Hes so comparable to Newman. I was watching one game and the Broncos didnt throw his way once. Hes the Terrance Newman of the Raiders. He wants big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Al wont pay it but Jerry might. The 29th pick for him I would do because our team is so close.

4. Devin Hester= I know the Bears will probably never trade him but a 1st round pick for him might be ok. By himself, he won 4 games alone last season. Is he worth a 1st round pick. I say yes. The point of the game is to win. We have the players who get all the accolades but cant win a game on their own like Hester. This one makes you go hmmmmmmm.

Whats your take??????

I wouldnt touch

1. Roy Williams= He always gets injured. Even back to his Texas days I beileve he was always injured. Plus, the Dallas pizza deilvery union will picket in front of Jerry's house.

Ashimouda is a free agent but if he is not retain by Al Davis, Raiders fans might actually kill him. This is all over the sports radio show out here as the one Raider who they can not let leave.

Uhhh, Roy played in 50 games for the Horns, catching passes in 49 of them... he obviously didn't miss much playing time...

In his pro career, he has played in 55 of 64 games, starting 51 of them... that's a LITTLE bit of an injury problem, but hardly qualifies him as "always gets injured"...

I used to be one of them :

Roy Williams is the first Dallas Cowboys player that could star in a Night of the Living Dead sequel.

Trades are harder to pull off these days because of the salary cap implications. The team who is trading off the player has to eat some cap dollars

Roy Williams is in his last year of a contract so that is an easier trade to make

There where rumors that AZ may look to trade Larry Fitzgerald because his contract is coming up for renewal soon. (That is pure rumor)

We know the Lions and Williams are ready to part ways after this year I think he gets traded.
