Players wont be missed...

During the 09 offseason, the Cowboys have purged starters and players contributing playing time, creating a more with less concept in the front office. Promting more and more fans to realize the players cut by the Cowboys are not worth the time and (trouble in some cases) effort.

Some say the Cowboys are rebuilding others say they are just cleaning house after the Super Bowl favorites failed to make the playoffs, after a week 17 Blowout. But, it seems like almost every fan justifies these moves with the standard verbatim corporate line "Player X will not be missed" in defense of Jerry. Over the last decade this has been the norm in JerryLand, including how some fans look at his various coaching staffs, they will not be missed.

Sad but true... Plaryers from Kevin Hardy to Kelvin Garmon, Coaches from Bruce Read to Bruce Coslett come to mind as the Cowboys All Decade team of "Cowboys that wont be missed" rolls on!

Yes, some are just Homers who will say any and everything to denfend Jerry, even if it contradicts. When you think of guys who leave, via free agency or players released, and the only thing fans/Cowboys Web site can say, they will not be missed...

What does that say about the product Jerry has put on the field over the last 10 or 15 years? or what does that say about our fans...

...garbage in, garbage out!

Let me guess...this is another not so cleverly disguised way of saying Dallas is DOOMED TO FAILURE without The Player still on this team.

Garbage In?

Really? Ware is garbage? I guess so is Witten and Ratliff. Must all be garbage according ot you. Interesting theory you have there.

The other way to look at this issue you are attempting to make is that the Cowboys do a good job of keeping the good players and identifying the players that need to be replaced. So, in other words "A mix of talent and garbage in, the garbage gets weeded out." Which sounds like how everyone does it in the NFL.

Ulimately, there is no point here. Just another complaint about Jerry and another person butt hurt because we didn't make the playoffs.

Look. I am just a fellow who loves NFL football and the Cowboys.
Yes, I can stomach the Garmons and the Carters because of our team owner.
(cue in the "Battle Hymn of the Republic")
I'm from small town America, see? And I like a beer on Saturdays and then take ma to mass on Sunday. I save. I show up for work and I dream of big things.
Mostly ah dream about Lombardinis in the green fields of February when the season exhales for once last, legendary and achingly tough breath. and jerra holds up that trophy.

Yeah, some personnel changes have been questionable. Especially Brookings and that other slug from the Falcons (Wade's Boys) but darn it, Wade and jerra are doing what they can. They can't always be right.

I jus wanna say that despite the brutish and uninspired draft this year, hope still lingers among the great unwashed like me. (..."Glory, Glory hallelujah, Glory, Glory hallelujah". . .)

There ain't no garbage, here, Mistere, just mens with stars on their helmets. From Eddie LeBaron to Tony Romo, LeRoy Jordon to DeMarcus Ware . . . I see America exhulting in what are the Dallas Cowboys.
Sure, hate us cause we are consistently good.
Hate us because we are the creme de la creme and have cheerleaderes and party with Edie Adams and Ward Bond.
But, no, fella, no garbage here. Just plain old fans who love America's Team.
You don't like it, it is high time you come to terms with the fenom. . . pheeno . . . the unusual ability of this team to inspire.
The Dallas Cowboys helped knock down the Berlin Wall and are known worldwide. We are the good guys of Western lore and NFL legend.

So don't be all smug and Orson Wells on us and talk down to us.
(end "Battle Hymn of the Republic.")

17 maybe was your old number with the 'Boys? No wonder you hate on them so much. Only someone as disintelligent as Q-Car would continue to post as you do.
