Playoff Scenarios & Preferences

If we lose next week and GB wins, we go to MIN and then back to NO.

If we lose next week and ARI wins, we go to ARI and then back to NO.

If we win and MIN wins, we re-host the Eagles.

If we win, MIN loses and GB wins, we're the #2 seed (whoo-hoo!).

If we win, MIN loses and ARI wins, we host GB and then go to MIN.

Obviously, my favorite scenario is getting the #2 seed. After that, though, I think I prefer a trip to MIN or ARI to a rematch against the Eagles. Since MIN plays early, if they win, I'm going to have very mixed feelings about our game. Of course, that's in theory - once the game starts, I'll be rooting for the 'Boys.

I would like go play anyone except the eagles in the playoffs. Having a home game would be icing on the cake.

This is just my opinion but I believe there are only 2 legit scenarios. Obviously I could easily be wrong but I believe 1 of these 2 scenarios will ultimately occur.

NYG @ Minn = Minn wins no doubt
GB @ AZ = Zona wins no doubt (dont think gb will play 100%)

Only game of the 3 I can see going either way is Philly at Dallas

Philly wins

Dallas @ Minn

Philly loses

Philly @ Dallas

Mark my words, 1 of these 2 scenarios will be what dallas is handed

As I am sitting here typing this, it appears if the Vikes win, the Packers game has NO bearing on what happens to Dallas..The seeds differ but it doesnt change who we play...Only our game vs Philly changes who we play..Now I am even more certain 1 of the following 2 scenarios will play out

thats a great point...but like I mentioned, if Minn wins..the Packers Game doesnt mean anything to dallas..it will effect the seeds..but it doesnt change who we play..our game vs philly will decide who we play
