Obviously the offensive style that we played against the Bronco's isn't sustainable, but there has to be a happy medium between that offense and the overly conservative offense we've seen previously, right? I loved how we actually attacked the middle of the field today with seam routes from Witten (1 from Escobar) and that deep ball to Williams. We do need to run the ball better, but I'll give them a pass this week because of our opponent and our only chance to beat them was to sling it. But for future games, I think we need to strike a balance between the insane risk-reward style and the super conservative style of previous games. Hopefully running the ball effectively will bring that balance.

Our offense was Ric Flair gorgeous today, minus our inability to run. We attacked deep, and looked good doing it. The broncos scoring ability forced us to not be conservative. I'd like to see us go right at the Commanders neck the way we did today against Denver. Washington has one of the weaker run defenses in the league so hopefully Murray wakes up and runs well.

yes I was wondering the same. I hope we continue to go deep. Garrett can't continue to handicap this team.

Amen to balance and no more dink and dink.

On another note, I don't think I heard kill kill kill once. I wonder if Romo was told not to audible.

This is what I hate all we heard was TR was fine and now we hear he wasn't. Makes sense but still seems like they didn't design good offensive game plans to balance that. There are other ways to be explosive

No more dink and dunk. Romos ribs are good and he threw the ball deeper than ever and he looked better than ever. Romo balled. Cowboys for life!

The last 2 games should have a ton of folks excited about what Terrance Williams can provide to this offense.. His play besides the early drop & fumble in SD has been very nice the past 2 weeks.

These are the things I saw the offense do more today and should keep doing.

*Deep post routes to TWill.
*Dez running more crossing routes
*TEs running seem routes
*Running from spread formation
*Passing from run formation
*Receivers in a stack formation

The rib thing makes sense.

I dunno. Romo is at his best when he's holding onto the ball and making things happen. I know it's frustrating when he gets sacked or forces it into coverage, but man, the difference is such night and day. The game is so much more fun to watch. I missed seeing this guy.

Yeah, 100% agree on trying to Dez the ball on underneath routes.. Was beautiful watching him run after the catch with a little space.

Well, this did catch my eye before the game for whatever it's worth.

Tony Romo hasn't been throwing deep. Sources say that's because of rib injury, Bill Callahan approach. Coaches feel he's healthy enough now

Yes, I agree. T Will can stretch the field. I thought everyone was to hard on him for his first couple games in the NFL.

I agree people wanted this kid benched cut called him names and what did he do? Found his groove and showed everyone what they saw in him he looked awesome. With Dez being awesome I think Williams is a great compliment to Dez. These 2 make a great pair.

. Callahan is calling the plays not Garrett. He has a history of being conservative. We still need to push to establish the run, but this team can flat out ball thru the air. Our offensive line is still coming together, but Tony had so much time during the game , I got nervous he was sitting in the pocket so long. Hopefully Callahan just realized what this team can do when you open it up.
