Instead of moving then back to the 15, I would have combined the extra point with the kickoff. Kick offs stay the same, only to get the extra point, the kicker has to kick it through the uprights. It would be the only type of extra points allowed. It would force a team to kick to the middle of the field and stop them from kicking away from a good returner. It would also make a PAT harder the all get out. Needless to say, you only return missed PATs. Good attempts come out to the 20.

Consequently, that would also make those 15 yard dead ball penalties on touchdowns all the more damaging. Scooting the kicking team up 15 yards make those kicks much easier.

It would be pretty funny, but no one would ever make them. I suppose that's what you're wanting, and I guess having an extra point that is only good 1% of the time has the same overall effect as an extra point that is successful 99% of the time... I would have to think about it.

Well, if you do--tell him to the leave the part about the defense being allowed to return the PAT for two points in there. I like that part........

As for the rest. Screw the extra point. Make them convert from the 5 yard line!!!

My Golden, Woody was his name, passed away a couple years ago. Sweetest dog in the world. I would put my new boy's picture up, Jackson is his name, but I don't have the heart to take Woody down. I miss him.

Here is a picture of her after I mowed that Lion's mane off after winter. She looks pathetic and sad in the picture, but she was just confused at why I was trying to get her to look at me when I took the picture. She is kind of a runt. A little smaller than most female Goldens.
