I don't mind it. Of course I liked Cowboys Stadium, or the idea of Tom Landry Stadium better, but if it's going to be sponsored I'm happy it's AT&T-- a well recognized, national brand headquartered in Dallas. There are some truly strange/underwhelming sponsors out there like University of Phoenix, Sports Authority, etc.

Well...do ya...punk?

It ain't even relatively CLOSE to football. Or any sport for that matter.............or to a monument in Texas.....or an important figure.

All about the dollar. Sad really.

Yes it is about the dollar, and for players it is about dollars and for most working people it is about dollars. It is business.

Don't like it. Always thought it should have been named America's stadium.

Is America going to fork over the cash for the naming rights? lol

Maybe the question should be if you were the owner and this oppertunity came would you pass it up? I'm sure some will say yes it is only money no big deal. lol

The money would be hard to pass up but it would be worth it if you could name it America's stadium. The look on SAS face would be priceless.

Well business people can't pass it up, the stadium cost 1.2 Billion your not going to sit back and not make a profit off it it. Jerry would have been stupid to do that. I think anyone in that position if they are being honest would do the same thing. That was a lot of out of pocket money for jerry and for the city of Arlighton.

Jerry needs the extra money to feed his family LOL

Jerry is smart enough not to lose money. Critic are good about spending other peoples money but if it was their money they would do the same thing.

Yeah your probably right Doom. I still would rather not have it be a company advertising tool though. Oh well, I'll always call it cowboys stadium.

I think most people will refer to it as Cowboys stadium. AT&T is a good rock solid company and are willing to pay out big money that helps repay investors and the city as well as Jerry. Come game time the name of the stadium will not mean a thing.

AT&T = America's Team & Texas. OK, it's corny, but so what? I'm glad it's AT&T as opposed to Google Stadium or Facebook Field. Imagine the Twitter Dome. It could be a lot worse.

It generates $$$$ for the team, but that being said, I am not a fan of any of the stadium sponsor names around the NFL.
But it is a business, so I understand the reason behind it, I just dont care for it.

I'll go with Catch17, AT&T Field at Cowboys Stadium would have been the best IMO.
I do miss the old days with the great stadium names ( Mile High, War Memorial) and have an issue with taxpayer money paying for a stadium and having a corporation pay a team for the naming rights. Of course it's been that away for a while with Busch Stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals back then. Thank god for Arrowhead and Lambeau Field.
Jerry did it without taxpayer money IIRC, so he can do what he wants.

$25 Million per year. Jerry's wallet sure loves it. We can't complain, it's not worth 25M to anyone to keep the name as "Cowboys Stadium" as opposed to "Corporation Name Stadium".

Also AT&T Stadium isn't all that bad. Much better than Papa Johns Complex or something along those lines. Verizon/AT&T are probably the two most classy/prestigious companies that could've possibly purchased it.
