I'm just curious about who the majority of the fans here root for.

weither its the shifty "scat back" in julius Jones or the powerfull "bulldozer" in Marion Barber the 3rd.

just kidding can't do a poll?

Barber, because he will get u between 5 and 15 yards on any giving play..

Julius will get u either 1,2,3 or 25 or more..

I think Barber would get the tough yards while Julius would break one if given the opp. Both are good and young, therefore we have our RB for the next 7 years, Hopefully.......

I love the 1-2 punch these two RBs give us. JJ is so quick & fast that all he needs is a crease, and he is gone. Barber plays every play like it's his last. I love his second, third, & fourth efforts. That last TD he made last night was a thing of beauty.

Why do we have to choose? I think they are both being used with great efficiency.

Actually if you notice this year Julius is getting a lot more runs that go for 6 to 10 yards.

I think it is very hard to choose, b/c each works better in certain situations.

It really depends on whether or not you need to pound for short yardage.

I think it says a lot for our running tandem that we even need a question like this asking which of our two do we like more. That says we have one heck of a threat back there.

We may have one of the best one-two punches in the league. It's great to see Marion come in at the end of the game and use his freshness and power to just keep tiring down the defense.

I like Barber better.....he can make something out of nothing....

Everything has to be right for Jones to succeed....plus his vision is poor and he is one of the easiest RB ive seen get tackled....Once a defender lays a arm on him....he is usually on the ground.

Once JJ sees a hole....he does hit it hard......but so many times....JJ just runs where the play is called and never cuts back like Barber does

I think both are good backs.....none of them will be great....and it wouldnt matter if we had the OL of the 90's playing in front of them....

JMHO.

But they are sure a very good combination to have here......

JJ for sure But I love the way MB runs after JJ has worn out the defense. I see alot of people talking ***** bout JJ, that kid is awesome. He will lay a shoulder into a defender, but not like MB. I like how they root for eachother. Great teammates

i dont think jones has poor vision. and on that TD of his last night as soon as he took the handoff i yelled "that's a td" could just tell when i saw the lane open up and knew JJ would hit it fast and score.

The thing that amazes me about barber is when i think, oh he's goona get stoned right there, he still gets out of it and gets another 4-5 yards on top of that. On both of his TD's i didnt think - oh thats a TD because there wasnt necesarrily a nice lane for him to run through, he scored out of sheer determination and will. He makes things happen. Now add to that good pass blocker and good receiver and i like him even more.

If i had to pick one it would be barber. Because if you can grind it out you can hang in there if the passing game struggles until you open something up, but if you cant get any positive yards running (which could happen in a game with JJ getting hit at the line every play) then the defense can foce a lot of 3 and outs and really take over the game.

As far as having JJ in there for the big play, yes its nice, but thats also what your wr are there for. So give me a guy that can keep the chains moving on the gorund and i'll get the big yard gains through the air if i have to.
