i dont think jones has poor vision. and on that TD of his last night as soon as he took the handoff i yelled "that's a td" could just tell when i saw the lane open up and knew JJ would hit it fast and score.
The thing that amazes me about barber is when i think, oh he's goona get stoned right there, he still gets out of it and gets another 4-5 yards on top of that. On both of his TD's i didnt think - oh thats a TD because there wasnt necesarrily a nice lane for him to run through, he scored out of sheer determination and will. He makes things happen. Now add to that good pass blocker and good receiver and i like him even more.
If i had to pick one it would be barber. Because if you can grind it out you can hang in there if the passing game struggles until you open something up, but if you cant get any positive yards running (which could happen in a game with JJ getting hit at the line every play) then the defense can foce a lot of 3 and outs and really take over the game.
As far as having JJ in there for the big play, yes its nice, but thats also what your wr are there for. So give me a guy that can keep the chains moving on the gorund and i'll get the big yard gains through the air if i have to.
