Does Price Play special teams, I thought Bill said No.4 had to contribute to special teams. Whats up with that? I know he can't beat out Crayton

No way. I have a feeling he'd pout if he was #2 and I'd only want him if he'd line up at #2 or even #3 *although I really like the idea of moving Glenn back to the slot*. Either way I'm not clear on how much cash we've got lying around to even make this happen.

I believe he was 1st or 2nd in the league returning some type of kicks a few years back so I'd guess he can play special teams.

Check your stats there JT, I don't think Price was that good, although he did have some time returning punts...

To answer the question...
If Morgan is cut, (YES) its a MUST sign...

We can't start a season with only 2 WR's with decent NFL experence and Crayton...

I just question the timing...Not even one preseason game to develop any gelling with the offense...If might prove to be poor chemistry...

The problem I have with him is attitude and unwilliangness to block which is why Atlanta cut him. When Price sits down to talk with Parcells on Friday I will trust the outcome of that because Parcells doesn't want attitude he wants character guys.

I sincerely think Parcells is going to give Morgan a big chance tonight. I don't think he ever intended to cut Morgan but because of drops and interviews he is given he is playing for his job. If Morgan chokes we will see Price in Dallas but if he plays good I think Dallas passes because Price is going to cost us.

Behind Crayton we have nothing. I'm all for signing him if it doesn't break the bank.

I voted yes. He does have some baggage and many will argue the ol he didnt have a quality QB vs he just is a plain bust. But the WR position has me as concerned as any position on this team. I have no problems with Key and Glenn as the starters. But Crayton, while looks to be improved in the preseason, still isnt an established #3 and Morgan can't catch and vocally wants out. Sign him and I will feel much better about the WR position. I don't expect #'s when he had Moulds in a career yr demanding double teams that left Price 1on1 but I still think this would bring some stability to a position on our team that desperately needs it.

He just got cut by the Falcons in favor of a 2nd year WR who had all of 7 catches last year, a rookie, and Brian freakin Finneran.. I doubt he expects to be a #1. Hell, I doubt he expects to come into any team as more than a third option considering the timing.

Anyway, I'm all for signing Price, we need the depth and he has solid potential.

you are absolutely correct HH.
He averaged 27 yards per kick return in 99 and 16 per punt return but DUH it was return in each case, lol.

He did return punts a bit the next two years but with only mediocre success avaraging about 5.5 to 6 yards per return.

Back ot the original question tho yes he can retun punts and Crayton can also play ST so the Wrs would be covered as far as ST is concerned easily not even including Copper or Crowder as the 5th guy and ST specialist.
