lol okay, you clearly don't even bother reading what I write. You can't even make this stuff up that you go on about
I read it and you’re just another naysayer with an agenda which is to be a naysayer. Meanwhile, Jerry certainly has a plan. Just isn’t working.

The plan is to let some of better players (on defense) go because we have to resign Micah (JLew DLaw Armstrong). Then spend future picks on Pickens for going for it now. Then trade our best player for the future. Then spend the future picks for now because we're a player away at 2-3-1 and a rookie first time HC and probably the worst DC in the league. We'll have a losing team, no franchise defensive player, and probably less picks then when we started this offseason.

What's not to get about the plan?!

He has to think to himself "we haven't sniffed a Super Bowl in nearly 30 years." He has to have looked into the mirror at some point and asked himself "is it me."

My hope for this team as a whole, lies in the future with a rebuilding plan that includes multiple draft picks, not a long shot for the present. Our draft capital is the start for a better future.

Which is why I don’t personally favor a trade right now for a defensive player that would give up future draft capital. I just can’t see this team as a playoff team.

Maybe I’ll be proven wrong but I just see the trade scenarios as sacrificing our future for at best a 100-1 dice roll that implies we can make this season “special”. I want to develop some players and identify who is worth keeping for the future.

Try accepting others viewpoints aside from your own.

Yeah, I don't believe a word of what Jerry is saying because I don't think even he does. Again, I ask, what is his plan? If you are paying attention, he is flip-flopping with having draft capital in the next two years, and then saying he has the resources to make the team better now. What is my agenda, again? To promote naysaying? Are you suggesting I am critical of everything Cowboys? Are you going to go down that steep slope of embarrassment?

For the 18th time, the plan is in question because each of the two GMs take turns getting their way like children.

Stephen wants to be financially conservative; doesn’t want a total disaster when he takes over entirely.

Sure, say that Jerry has final say all one likes, but it sure doesnt seem that way at times. Jerry is pushing 90, has billions he can’t take with him, yet they won’t sign the couple of players they need for the get over the top.

After Stephen talked Jerry out of Manziel and took Martin, he got much more say.

Jerry probably gets his way here and there….like probably Mingo and Lance, but those moves are garbage. Please don’t try to tell me the same guy is making all these decisions. No way.

careful, but you're a mod and won't be deemed a naysayer. or hater

Ask Jerry. I don’t sit in on those type meetings McFly.
Well you keep talking about this "plan" that they have.

At the end of last season Jerry thought.. I will wait til the start of next season and trade away our best defensive player.. that's a good plan.

Pick up a few cheap FA's.. draft some players and sell this great plan to the fans.

Not winning? ok.. tell the fans this is still a SB team. Fans don't believe it.. tell the fans the D will definitely improve.

Fans still don't believe it... tell fans we are looking hard at trades to make the team better.

There is NO plan.. they just throw spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.

None of the above. This was a lazy poll. Your options show you have an agenda.
All opinions on this opinion forum are essentially “agendas”. In that sense, yes I have an agenda. Just like you and anyone else who posts their opinions on here.

Opinions about the Cowboys are what make this place work. Even those we disagree with. As long as we respect the rules around here, it’s all good.

I’m not Karnak and cannot see into the future or read the minds of Jerry and Stephen. Like I said, they have a plan but it’s obviously not working. I’m sure their plan evolves over time because the salary cap changes every year, injuries happen, etc., etc., etc.
Since you refuse or cannot iterate what that plan is, we simply don't believe you.
